Siege Invasion

Please make it so the invasion monsters are immune to Monster Ignore. Tamers and mages should not be able to farm the items with little or no risk from the monsters.

Not gonna happen. The devs are probably seriously overworked at this point since most of their support people have been canned. Some may already be spending time looking for another job or looking for a place to live in VA.

...and let's not forget about KR, SA, the current event as it runs on prodo shards, etc...

No way in hell are they going to remove MI on Siege right now.

You, however, can join factions with your Siege character, go get yourself 40 life force, and turn it on as well.

Another thing.. MI only helps to a point. I have seen more people dropping out of factions to participate in the event than I have seen people running MI to participate.

On Siege Perilous, the faction system is a bit different. Each faction has a loyal monster group. These monsters will not attack players in the allied faction unless the player attacks it first.

True Brits: Silver Serpent
Minax: Ogre Lord
Council of Mages: Wisp
Shadowlords: Demon

So, as a default, members of the Shadowlord faction will not be attacked by the NORMAL demons in the invasion (Dark Fathers and other spawn will though).

ALSO...

In fations, you can kill monsters loyal to opposing factions and gain "faction life force points". These points can then be used (if you colleect enough) to invoke various faction powers. One of these powers is called "Unholy Shield". When this power is invoked, ALL monsters will ignore the player for one hour. The shield is broken if the player directly damages ANY monster and you must spend another 40 life force points if you want to use it again.

The actual MI ability is pretty gimp, but I not want to see it "band-aid fixed" for this event. It is a much greater problem for Siege Factions that needs to be addressed if/when they redo the entire faction system. Not just because a couple of people feel like crying.

Actually, I don't know for a fact (not in Shadowlords). I assume that since I get put into stat when one of the demons kill me (I'm in Minax) that Shadowlord members would also get treated according to the current faction code.

Kill em....the 20 minutes in stat will decrease their artifact collection rate rapidly .

I wouldn't expect to see it fixed anytime soon...factions seem to be overlooked quite frequently. At least they're predictable.

DING DING DING! We have a winner!

IMO, the only mistake made for the current event as it exists on Siege Perilous is that the guard zone was left in tact. It really should have been removed, or limited to a small area around the docks.
