Shadowlords Faction Base...

The recent problems with the base have been resolved and we do appreciate that issue being escalated and taken care of. However, we still cannot get out of the base via the stairs, when dead.

There are only two ways out after dying.

1. Use the stuck option
2. Have a guildmate open a gate inside the base

The latter doesn't work so well when no one is on and the Stuck option has limited use.

The problem lies with the stairs near the main entrance. We cannot walk up the stairs in ghost form, but they work just fine any other time.

Any hope for a fix?

Factions isnt on the list for improvements right now. So just give up on it!
Beating the dead horse with this frivalous complaints.

Broken map sections IS on the list of things that are getting fixed, though. Why do you think they took a first stab at fixing the hythloth issue which is basically the same issue?

While you are fixing the shadowlord hold can you make it so ghosts can walk up the stairs. For a long time now if you die in there you have to use the stuck out option.

I'll definitely bring it up to the worldbuilders - I don't think it got in for the latest fix though. Sorry :/

how many times do they have to revisit this issue to fix it?

first they break something that had nothing wrong with it.

next they add a gate that does not resolve the issue. problems here are that the gate is ugly and it's not a real fix.

now ghosts can't exit the place.

FIX THE PROBLEM ALREADY! how many times do they have to keep revisiting and looking at this?

what a disgrace to the spirit and quality of the original UO 2D map.

The only solution was to fix the terrain or provide special gates through the server code, so the sigil could pass through. Since a publish is required for both, we actually fixed the terrain. The moongates were provided manually to at least let people in or out.

In the last month or so LS has had an increase in factions. Seems like it is working pretty good. Did hear about one group who was more interested in ganking everyone but other then that, think it is going ok.

Cool. I played on a shard long time ago and I tried starting up the old UD guild there, but that obviously didn't work out.

there are a LOT of posts in the above thread on Stratics,which I cannot possibly copy over,theres 14 pages so DO go read if your into Factions or play on Siege Perilous
