I thought Publish 43 was supposed to fix this on character statues...?

I resculpted mine after the publish, but the very next day after server-up, it went back to the ~1_Name~ tag.

As long as we're talking char statues. Has anyone ever got all the details on how these work.
I tried one on a char on Siege. It has to be locked down before use. Can the homeowner target other folks to make a statue of that person? For instance, if I wanted to make a hall with statues of all Guild members, can they just give the "stone" to the homeowner then have the homeowner target them for the statue?

Here is my experience with statues. When you use the statue maker, you are given a targeting cursor to specify the location of the statue. When that is done, a statue of the character who used the statue maker is created, and a gump pops up showing the different shades, angles, and poses the statue can be in.

I have also learned that if a statue of someone else gets sent back to deed form (like if you were customizing your house, it's redeeded) and you place the statue again, there will be a button to restore the original sculpture.

So to answer your question about the hall of statues, that is entirely possible, however all the people who you wish to make statues of must have an old enough account to use the statue maker.

Aye, it's a 6 year reward, I figure if they want to have a statue in the hall, they need to stcik around a bit :-P

I'm not sure I understand why there would be a sculpted by name.
Since I've only been able to make one of myself.
So if I own the stone but give to another to use. It will have my name as the sculpted by and their name on the statue of?

Well, let's say you have a statue of Bob in your house. The name of the statue is "Bob" and it also says "Sculpted by Bob". If that statue were to be redeeded in some way, say, if you decided to enter the house customization mode, then when you use the statue deed again, a statue will appear for your character, but not Bob. However, Bob was saved on the deed, and there will be a button in the statue gump to restore the previous sculpture. Then, when you bring Bob back, the statue will be called Bob, but it will say "Sculpted by *your name*".
