When I saw the title of this thread,I first thought,it meant some GM's were having some festive fun on the shards.Howevewr after reading Jeremy's opening post

I've sent this issue to the Customer Support team, and their lead, GM Xatryn, wanted me to tell y'all this:

"The issue is being fully investigated, and the proper action will take place based on what the investigation finds. We will not be able to share to the players what has taken place, but they need to know that we are very serious about our policies, and breaches of them."

Being the curious reporter that I am,I naturally went to investigate further.However,the original thread detailing what had happened,mysteriously dissappeared,and I havent been able to locate it yet.So I carried on my investigation of Jeremy's thread.The report below is what I was able to piece together.

No what happend was a certain Person was killed at the gate on atlantic a few times by a guildmate of mine then that guildmate had a message from a gm kicking him then had connection lost ..

Althought this was OT to the issue Jeremy answered

Email or the GM review tool is faster and more efficient, and the Stratics folks pulled that thread according to their own policies, which I incidentally agree with - public forums aren't the best way to deal with it, largely because we can't discuss specifics of CS-related incidents with anyone but the account holder.

However, when an issue like this becomes public, it's my job to address it publicly to the best of my ability and to the extent that our policies allow.


This reply brought an explanation from Laquatus regarding his original complaint

I wasnt aware of such rule I dont post here often and I didnt presume to think the gm had any bad intentions but I did want answers as to why such actions had been taken ...

This case is a bit different. It was posted like a news clip sort off. Just the pic and a short comment.

Now it could have been faked and all that... oh my point it was NOT a long he said gm said thing. Just a pic and question.

It was certinaly not faked I was in ventrillo with the person at the time and he was completely sincere when it happened I would have personally thought it not possible but with the uo.com my uo search the indeed character was located with skills that arent possible led me to beleive that there was something here indeed.

Well that GM didn't give him the form to feel how... how was he suposed to get ahold of the team? And how was he supposed to get out the evidence?

After a suggestion was made that players receive a new GM Slayer weapon ,the fun began with several humorous posts until *zigzag* posted

With all due respect, nothing more will come of this on the forums...

As Jeremy stated, EA/Mythic cannot and will not answer any more questions regarding this issue here.

The issues was reported, Jeremy replied with all the info available...so what can be done here has been

So it would seem a GM decided to pvp a player and then disconnect him from game,and subsequently brought Laquitus to make it all public.

I say good call and good response from Jeremy.

I remember many years back how the Seer's played characters and the whole server would turn up at brit bank to fight them.....now they were funny times. I would have loved to see the Gm fight someones character.

Must been dumb seers forgetting the invulnerability status. Since that is clearly also against their policies to turn up for fighting... unless an event..

Seer = Event masters.

I remember all those councilors and seers as well.. cant think of one moment tho.. side by Event that they forgot the invulnerability

The only time I saw an EM/GM use thir 'powers' was when I was in a full on roleplay session with Commander Jurrel and some one attacked me.Before I could even hit my desktop spell icon, the guy was toast,hehe,and no one would ress him after.

So he had no choice but to leg it to the healers quick before his corpse was dry looted *grins*

Let me tell you a little story of a time many years ago . . . . .

There was a little party next to the West Bank in Trinny when a guy kept stealing all the decoration items after a few warnings i sent word to a GM. This was back in the days the response wasnt too long.

The GM tipped up encompased the fellow and himself in a bubble and gave the little chap a talking to....the guy then carried on with his antics. I guess at this stage the GM must just have been hidden as all of a sudden the guy vanished from the event.
