Rating for UO [DEBATE ]

Has anyone else notice that on Gamespy they have pages set up for KR and the new expansion coming out. I just noticed that on the KR site they have it listed as rating pending, but on the expansion site it is rated as Mature. Is it possible that UO is going back to a mature rating or is this a typo. I would very much like to see UO go back to a mature rating.

Which KR site are you looking at? The one that came out yesterday has it Ratings Pending (which is correct)

M rating is pointless... the gameplay carries this game... they don't need to go the smut route. Bad mmo's do, but we don't.

UO when first released was rated M.

Changing the game and the rating to Teen was a mistake IMHO. I know why it was done, still a mistake.

Should be M again. Just my 2 cents.

If keeping the rating at T has a positive impact on regitered accounts, Im all for it.

Why couldn't they rate the individual shards? IMHO

Probably a programmers nightmare I'm sure!

personally I believe the higher the rating, the better chances someone will buy and try it. People who believe that a "nicer" rating carries a better game I believe are wrong. Most of todays gamers are looking for excitement. Not dull bloodless deaths.

I dont see why it was changed in the first place. Most kids that have their parrents pay for it; the parents in most cases I've seen dont care let alone check the rating as long as it doesnt have pornography on the content label.

I personally wish it was 18 and older, I do not enjoy playing with children and find it hard when we all talk and then totally forgetting their is a 12 yrs old listening. I enjoy playing with a mature crowd, not children.
