General bugs

Characters working skills under a 350 skill points but OVER gm in that skill will not gain at the correct interval as the GGS chart dictates. My gains for 106 discord/peace are not 7.8 hours, but instead closer to 14 hours. (Was supposed to gain at 10am today, couldn't gain it until 4pm.)

Insurance bug

Attempting to use a potion reveals you, even if you get a message saying you can't use the potion (i.e.: using a cure potion when you aren't poisoned).

Prisoner NPCs that start in an area that is not connected by passable ground to their destination cannot be brought to their destination. They will not get on boats, enter gates, get teleported to their leader when their leader steps on a teleportation object (moongates, teleporter tiles), or enter dungeons

People with 800x600 sized game play windows can see farther than people with 640x480 sized game play windows

When using Special Ability: Honorable Execution, This special ability attempts to end an enemy's life with a single attack. If the attack does not kill the Samurai's enemy, her defenses are greatly weakened: Resistances suffer and Resist Spells suffer. The Samurai cannot attempt any special move while weakened, although a successful parry instantly ends the weakness. My Archer has 75 resist spells in skill and it lowers to 0 it always happen this and I thought it was more a less only 40% that would be lowered

You can't teleport/shadow jump into the 'buffer' zones surrounding player houses

If after do a Shadow Jump you use the Hide skill...you are revealed and then cannot hide again for an extended period of time. The message: "You are busy doing something else and cannot hide." is displayed when trying to use the Hide skill

Plants: I'm sure originally plants were meant to display "Decorative 'plant name'" instead of just "a decorative plant", this seems minor but considering the new addition of the bonsai trees and them being so very hard to tell the difference between common, uncommon, and rare bonsai trees it would be nice to see the intended "A Decorative Rare Bonsai Tree"... either that or make each level of tree a different color all together

I'm not sure if it's currently like this, but if you try to mix and match necro spells/mage spells or even cast necro spells after each other, the second spell DOES NOT CAST. Try doing two withers in a row with FCR 6 or even cast an e-bolt and then strangle. The second spell takes time and the words are said, but nothing happens

Paralyzing Blow - A successful Paralyzing Blow will leave the target stunned, unable to move, attack, or cast spells, for a few seconds. Duration is 3 seconds (player), 6 seconds (NPC). The duration is not broken by combat damage the way the paralyze spell is

Bracelets of Binding can (and are) be used to recall into the new dungeons, which are supposed to be no-recall zones

Honoring a monster and then guard whacking it still gives you the honor HP/stamina boost as a samurai.
[QA] This is as designed; the amount of honor gained is relative to the amount of damage done by the player.

You can teleport and walk on "water", in some places around the tokuno islands. You CAN'T teleport, onto some locations on the smaller tokuno islands

Samurai Confidence Bug: within THE 4 second (the original 4 second for you to regenerate HP) if you try to cast another confidence after you get disrupted, you see the animation u hear the sound you see the message you lose *another* 10 mana but your life will not come back
[QA] This is as designed, you must wait until 5 seconds after the interrupted confidence effect to get the healing portion of the effect to start again, and this is the penalty for being interrupted.

Noticed that, in Ilshenar near the compassion shrine while hunting Troll Paragons, when I kill one and start to loot it, a message "no draw" shows up as the corpse opens. I take it to mean that I didn't receive (draw) a chest or artifact from that Paragon, since in all instances where "no draw" occurred I have received neither.

For any container at their max number of item (125) and houses with 0 lockdown available, if you send a stackable item in it while an occurrence of this item already exists in the container, it will refuse to take it. You have to open the container and place your item on the stack by hand

Another bug is escort NPCs seem to be getting stuck sometimes (not the prisoner escorts). You accept their escort and they will say lead on, but will not move from their spot, as if they are trapped in the air or under the ground even though you have full view of them

NPC humans such as brigands, nobles, etc., lose their clothing when they die. Before, their bodies remained clothed, but now they fall over nude--even with the clothes still on the corpse.

Bushido and fencing do not work together at all....when I try to use any of the new weapons specials(which on stratics says bushido or ninjitsu) I get you need 50 ninjitsu to perform this(on all new weapons)....I have enough bushido... its like bushido is not there or not recognized...
[QA] The Lajatang is a bushido fencing weapon.

Yumi requires 50 bushido or 50 Ninjitsu... yet difficult enough skills do no function correctly to give gains in the 90's, I’m still stuck using lightning strike as an archer to get gains at 92 bushido witch so happens to happen oh maybe .01 every 200-300 lightning strikes...

Momentum strike on an archer does not work unless standing right next to two or more creatures and when it goes off makes sword clanging sounds... Why doesn't it work for ranged attacks? And umm didn't have time to make sound for archers??(An archer without the ability to parry standing in between 2 ogrelords hmm do I smell death??)

Casting polymorph to change into another human form (i.e. male -> female and vice versa) results in a criminal flag, making you freely attackable in felucca.
Previously, only polymorphing into animal & monster forms would flag a player.

Total mana regain when casting spell results in 0 mana. Recall with 11 mana, drop to 0, and arrive at target with full mana.

Can't drop items on a monster corpse. Can drop them in when it’s open,, though sometimes it’ll say this container can’t hold anymore weight.

When performing a hit spell attack from a weapon you become frozen in place for a second

You become frozen for a moment when targeting a spell even though you precasted it.

Hit spell effects on weapons will go off even if do not hit on that swing
[QA] This is as designed; the spell effect can go off when you hit for 0 damage, which otherwise looks like a miss.


Necromancer familiars refuse to attack when Melee combat is induced and even a confirmed hit is registered.....they move up to it like they are attacking but never attack....as if the target is not targetable.

When in wraith form.. if you cross a server boundary(recall, walk, gate) You lose the ability to walk through people without losing stamina

Poison Elemental spawn in the Kirin Passage. In the north-most room you cannon teleport into the swamp pit to get to the poisons when they spawn there. This is frustrating for direct damage characters with no way to kill them, thus ruining the hunt. One can still teleport into the larger swamp pit in the center room so I see no reason why we can't in the smaller room also.

You can't gain in Ninjitsu if your skill is 0.

When crossing a server boundary your combat special move query gets turned off

In the Dark Guardian Room, you now get a Treasure Map off of EVERY guardian corpse.

I lost 5 points of Str after using the Petal of the Rose of Trinsic. (I goes like that: I started at 105 Str, use petal, got to 110, petal stop working, return to... 100 Str! I lost 5.) . I needed to logoff and log back on to get it back to 105.

When you try to "honor" a flying creature that is in flight, it says "Can not find path" even if you stand directly under it. (try a dragon that is flying in Destard)

You will crash if picking an item off a corpse at the same time a player auto-loot's their body.

PVM bugs

I'm not sure if it's intended or a bug but... Should monsters be able to reveal players with gm hiding and stealth? If so I guess the Ninja is strictly PvP

Gargoyle pickaxe summoned elementals do not have a color

Paragons in 3D are not gold colored

Some monsters still spawn in areas where no player can get to them (ratmen mining cave for example) so nobody can kill them

Flying creatures' corpses do not fall to the ground when they die in midair, thus making them unlootable.

Auto defend while hidden

Monsters seem to have an extended casting range after the first spell, i.e. hitting me with multiple spells when I’m no longer on the screen(not talking about explosion, talking about flame strikes, lightning, e-bolt)

I'm out on Isamu-Jima hunting Lesser Hiryus in the usual way, Drop a DP field on them and running like hell. They get poisoned and start wandering around. When they cross a server line, they remain poisoned, but their health is completely refreshed

My bard can no longer meditate when in the area where he has monsters provoked against each other

Encountered a Paragon Stone harpy. It still tried to flee when it was near death

While provoked, shadow wryms constantly use Greater Heal spell while having no mana. That’s not any fun when you get one down past 1/4 life and they heal up back past 1/2 life

I poisoned a fan dancer and then was killed, while I was a ghost every time the poison damaged the fan dancer I saw the animation of the fan dancer attacking my ghost. I also noticed that when I cast invisible on myself and the fan dancer took damage from my poison I would take damage. I would not be revealed but would still take damage. Not much hope for a Nox/Mage with that one.
[QA] This is as designed; fan dancers have damage reflection special moves.

The new Weapon Special Move " Frenzied Whirlwind " almost no damage. With 90 Bushido and a Sword with DI 41% , I only do 1-3 damages to sheep, cows and chicks( I tested it in Jhelom farm).

I was able to gain Ninjitsu on my crafter char resulting from a friend using shurikens that I had made and loaded into a looted ninja belt (from an elite ninja). We were both in Despise, and after he threw a shuriken at an earth elemental, I saw the damage floating above its' head and gained ninjitsu, as if I had thrown it myself, despite having not performed any action.

If your victim takes Bleed attack damage, you are revealed

If you are about to engage a monster that has JUST spawned, and they cast bless on themselves before attacking, you can't "honor" them, as they are considered to be "damaged" because when they are blessed, they aren't at full hit points

Some of you provokers out there already have undoubtedly noticed this, but it seems we're in a tough way now when soloing monsters. Specifically magical ones. For those that don't know, the new AI healing is pretty much putting monsters in a continuous redlining loop, at which point they heal a large amount of their health. Now I'm all for the AI healing and the other "smart" upgrades that were given to monsters, but come on now. When I sick 2 Ancient Wryms and a Bally on a Single AW and he is able to heal himself for close to 10 minutes, that's just way out there.

When using a slayer weapon and honor on a Samurai, Enemy of One completely negates the Honor bonus. So there is no reason at all damage-wise to both have a monster flagged as Enemy of One and Honor it.
[QA] This is as designed; your character may hit the 300% damage cap.

When killing birds for feathers, the majority seem to return a rib instead of the raw bird. Chickens are correctly returning a raw bird.

PVP bugs

Archers can still shoot moving armor ignores by changing special move mid flight of arrow from moving to armor ignore. Fixed with pub 29.

While doing Mirror Image at a Felucca guard zone I can be freely attacked by anyone and when I call for guards nothing happens

Using a shuriken or dart doesn't flag you as aggressor if you miss. First noticed this on Test when I threw a shuriken at a blue, but missed. He reflexively countered with an e-bolt, flagging grey, and was quickly dealt with by people nearby

Paralyzing a blue player will not give you a murder count as long as you don't do any damage to them

Housing Related bugs


Several house tiles still not aligning properly.

Certain new "window" house tiles STILL do not align correctly with non-window tiles:
Log Cabin Windows do no align with walls
Stone and Plaster Windows do not align with walls
Light Wood Windows do not align with walls
Both Pink and Blue Marble Windows do not align with walls

Since the patch, small marble workshops act like they have solid walls. I don't know if the other building styles with arches are also bugged. But there is a small marble workshop near where I mine and I used to be able to walk up to the back of the building and use the forge. I can't do that anymore.

Big Fish Trophies, once made with a Taxidermy kit and placed on your Wall are NOT fixed to the wall as other Trophy Deeds are. They can be locked down in Trophy form and moved and manipulated as any other Lockable Item, and they add to the total lockdowns in a house.
[QA] This is as designed; the big fish trophy is required to be locked down; the fix in Publish 30 is so the trophy will not decay if left out, however it can be picked up by anyone if not locked down.

At night the light from any light source does not shine in the correct direction through windows.

Guild bugs

Names and guild titles cannot include any profession title. There is no reason names like "Knight Warrior" or "Paladin of Trinsic" should be disallowed

When a guild goes to war, the message given to guild members no longer tells who the war is with. It just says "Your guild is now at war".
[QA] This is as designed; any guild member can open the guild interface and check the current war status.

In "private" guild (family members only) no war's, no alliances, in tram, in town, was unable to loot a guild mates bones. (died to a event/scenario related monster) Between the instanced corpse's code/fixes, and, reported "guild" related problems (cross healing to alliances etc) kind of wondering if another "skill/activities" guide is going to be necessary. Or maybe a lil quick tweak fix to the "green" killers?

Pet bugs


3d - Both fire beetles and giant beetles have one leg that does not animate, has been this way since they came out, one just stays stiff while they're walking around

Some pet skills (Magic Resist, Magery, and Meditation) take too long to train legitimately
[QA] This is as designed

Pet skills that start above 100 can't be retrained if the pet dies
[QA] Fixed in Publish 29

Fire beetles still have 100% Fire and 100% Physical damage, resulting in a cancellation preventing the fire beetle from doing any damage greater than 1 to anything even against 0 resist
[QA] Fixed in Publish 29, this fix was not retroactive. This means you need to tame a new fire beetle if you have one of the previously bugged fire beetles.

Several times now I have used peacemaking on a monster only to see my pet taking damage still. I peace and get the message "This creature is already being calmed" or whatever it says, but yet I watch my WW or Rune Beetle take damage still when fighting only one creature
[QA] This is as designed; the monster can still fight back when hit.

Tamed imps also suffer from the same bug as the fire beetle in that they have 200% total damage resulting in 1hp damage melee

Can't loot bonded bugs for 3 min if killed by monsters

Pets lose their target when the target is invisible.
[QA] This is as designed

When both myself and a bonded pet die, the pet disappears, thus I cannot take it with me for possible resurrection. This happened twice in a dungeon, so perhaps the pet does/will not follow across server lines? I went back as a ghost) and my poor horsy was nowhere to be seen.

Vendor bugs


Some vendors are not charging upkeep (I have one with about 60k worth of items on it for sale, and it hasn't charged me any upkeep in 3 weeks).

I just noticed that you can view the contents of locked chests on vendors. This includes paragon chests that have never been opened.

Crafting bugs

I am not able to use carpentry repair deeds. I get the message, "You must be near a carpenter shop to use this."

When enhancing for another player (tested on bone arms with a tailor not upgraded to SE), you can no longer put the item in a bag, put bag in trade window, open bag and enhance the item so that the client can see the item enhance or break. I get a message saying "that item must be in your pack".

Arcane gloves don’t get the Exceptional or material resist bonus.

Repair deeds (smith, tailor) don't work in the Zento shops...

Spinning wheels, north or south, all use the same graphic and face the same direction. When destroyed all spinning wheels become "facing east."
