Player: I haven't heard of anyone finding any yet... but supposidly it already is completed and can drop now.

MrTact: Almost . . . not quite. All the pieces are basically done; I can go into the game and spawn them. However, there are no drops yet for the other several pieces. The plan is to introduce a couple each publish until they are all in. I want to have a different way to include each piece (for example, one might be a rare drop off a champ spawn; one might require a rare craftable but then a blacksmith can make it; one might only be gotten through fishing; one could be a vet reward and so on), so completing the entire set will be quite an accomplishment.

As for their being underpowered, I suspected that I would not have as much time as I wanted to balance them, and I was right. I deliberately erred on the low side rather than introduce yet another overpowered blessed artifact. If I get the chance, I would like to go back and re-tune these items to make them more combat useful, though I'm a little skeptical about the chances of that happening.

Personally, this is one thing I hope he does take his time on... there's enough of this stuff in the game already that needs rebalancing.. don't introduce yet more of it. Just my 2 gold pieces though.

Well, the fact that he plans on making some things only obtainable through the Champ Spawn thing..makes one piece extremely exspensive. Just make them drops in some of the harder dungeons. No need to have highly expensive armor that isn't worth a damb in actual combat.

Hehe you would be surprised how many people would like the full armor set just to walk around in regardless of the mods. It would look awful nice at a wedding or what not to be all dressed in the new set. Also I like the idea that different peices will be attainable different ways At least it will make the suit a challenge to get all the peices

Rubble your right. I'd like to have the armor set myself. But if they do put it in champ spawns i hope it will be all champs not just limited to the fel ones because on my shard not alot of people other then those guilds that stay in fel that have all the equipment and what not to do it do them many times I've tried wtih a guild we get raided and then die and ending up with alot of problems just like any other champspawn on every shard. If they do make a piece craftable I hope that the quest for it is for the skill not like some of the tailor or smith quests that require you to go into a dungeon and kill a monster such ss the Hydra's for its scales because no way in can a crafter hope to do that. Even if you set it up for fighting the crafter still wouldn't be able to do it and that makes me upset that they give us a quest that must be done with another crafter when its suppose to be a crafting thing.

U know I thought the same thing about the crafter quests myself. I thought that they should only include items that a true crafter could make alone without having to worry about recruiting a warrior or using antoher char. If they wanted to make the quests harder they should have had hire level Ore/Leather/wood types instead of using items like Hydra Scales. As for the armor set I agree that if it invloves champ spawns that htey should use the trammel champ spawns also, as is there is not much incentive to complete any of the trammel or ilshenar champ spawns unless you like the title.

As for doing a champ spawn I too play Legends and am a Citizen of Ft. Briarwood perhaps we could arrange to doa co-operative champ spawn with our guilds, we might have a better shot at getting it done with more people., Just a thought

Rubble I agree with you. Working together would probably be best. I mean generally I'm the only one on in my guild half the time due to many members have other issues to attend to. I live not to far from Briarwood. I'm in allience with about 4 other guilds and they hardly do anything remotly like champ spawns or peerless. I mean I'm always wanting to get into the peerless to complete them I've only done the Dread Horn once so far. I've got the Tution Reenbursment almost finished and havn't done much for the key to get itno the Grizzly only becaue I go to bedlam with an archer with a mana regen suit and not any real resistents. I've done or at least attempted to do peerless with NARC,T*T and other guilds that i can find to want to do them. Just hit me up on my AIM or ICQ and we'll see what we can do.
