Hmm it says that the old accts will be active till Oct 9th right?

Yep mine got closed also in the past few hours, and no notification by email either.

i think the problem was, they made the same mistake since last time, banned acc. could also reopened.
( a player told me he opened an acc that was banned with hundred millions still in the bank box)

Same, had been training skills on my newly acquired account. I was going to let the rest of the Return to Brit time before I put credit card info on it for billing. It is now suspended.

The account portion of UO.com is disabled as well, so I guess I have to wait to give them my money.

Wow if that is true it's pretty sad.


Large loss of confidence in a dev team that could/would make such a silly mistake AND THEN shut down ALL accounts without even making an announcement of some kind.

This is probably how UO will end, without one word of warning from EA games, one day we will log off our account, try to log back in later and all be BLOCKED.

Sheesh.

Isnt it better they shut them all, and correct the matter ,rather than allow a heap of banned players back in the game ?
