ok... firstly I am very sorry you are dealing with this name change thing. Poo is not a bad word. It can mean a lot of things and its FINE. Anyone in their right mind would not be offended by it.

Now - here is my second concern. I know Thraximus. I know he is not very well liked by many folks in game. But... IF they were aiming to change his name - OMG! How is Thraximus offensive enough to change? Its NOT. In fact, Poo is at least closer to being more vulgar than a name like Thraximus.

So.... not only have they changed a name improperly, if they were really shooting for the "other guy" - why would the GM be "cruel," in a sense, to change the name of someone with a non-offensive name to something they know will offend him? That seems insensative and hate based. (I'm not saying I agree with Thrax on issues, but come on folks)

Wow. Either way, I don't think the GM had much right in this. How insane.

Lesson to be learned here. "People should not play with "Poo." so a GM fixed it so we can't.

That's just dumb. I see some really offensive names AND some guild names that are off the meter for offensive! Poo indeed! I played Earthbound too and I can see absolutely nothing wrong with the name! Hope you got satisfaction on the whole deal!!

I am sure there is probably more to Poo's actions to get his named changed by Gm's, than what he has posted.
