This Week's Overview of Noteworthy Events That Affected Ultima Online

It has been a busy couple of weeks for UO, with the shards battling the horrific Void Shadow, exploring uses and consequences of Black Rock, and most recently the search for Ricardo and appointment of an elf into the judicial system.

With changes such as these abounding and events unfolding as we converse, the Developers who work hard to bring this to us have been busy as well. Thankfully they take time out of their busy schedules to interact with us, the players.

For this reason, here at Stratics we are going to try something new: A Weekly Recap!

# On 9/16/06 in UO U.Hall, Wilki answered an astounding FIFTY (50) questions submitted by a player.
# On 9/16/06 in UO Rares Collector, Wilki checked into the changes concerning pre-patch ornate axes and Talon Bites.
# On 9/19/06 in UO U.Hall, Wilki clarified a misconception regarding ongoing combat changes.
# On 9/22/06 and again on 9/23/06 in UO U.Hall, Wilki addressed account age isues and requested more information where needed.
# On 9/23/06 in UO U.Hall, Wilki commented on PunkBuster, cheaters, and skill gains by addressing the effectiveness of PunkBuster.

The occasional encouraging word or comment is generally not reported on, but to catch the threads that leave Draconi saying 'Brainzzzz...', CatHat answering a UO:KR question, or Zilo reassuring Oceania players, be sure to check the EA Developer Posts thread regularly and stay in-the-know.

In General UO News, the Test Center came down for a while, a patch was released, PayByCash Subscribers were given a notice, and a new Five on Friday was answered.

Quest News brought Casca to the forefront of everyone's attention, and with such happenings with the Britannian Legal System, anticipation of the coming events is on the minds of those following the scenario everywhere.

Community News was busy as well, with updates and news from SosariaLive.com, Guildmates.com, and UOForums.com, as well as an amusing new comic at SosarianTales.com.
