Lycaeum Besieged!

A host of dark wisps has infiltrated the hallowed halls of Moonglow’s beloved library. Swarms of the vile creatures are fighting en masse, easily overcoming the city guards and rendering the building’s feeble defenses useless. Even now they tear through the thousands of books waiting examination by the scholars. These are unlike any dark wisps seen before; could this chaos be but a diversion to seek out the Book of Truth? All men and women of arms are called forward: defend the Lycaeum!

My guild and I went to the Lycaeum last night. These wisps are pretty tough. Two or three of them can take down my well trained cu. They also spawn flesh golems from the corpses of dead wisps. The spawn isn't as crazy as it was on test center... thank goodness. But still, it was nasty. They drop chests like a paragon (from a dark wisp) but I don't know how much luck you need for one of them to drop. All in all it got pretty interesting.

I think the wisps are there for a good reason. We should leave them be.

There can be nothing 'good ' about the presence of these 'dark entities' and I think Ezekiel and Adri have shown great bravery in declaring their intentions.I and my order shall be travelling there soon to offer our aide,wether it be healing,or helping to remove this evil presence .

I don't know, doesn't "good" need warriors in the face of evil? Thus making "dark" wisps the "warriors" of the wisp folk?

Remember now, this was all brought about with blackrock, which spawned a blue wisp, and now that there is supposed to be a blackrock locator machine being created, these dark wisps are showing up.

They could be there to stop the creation of the machine, which could be something bad.

But if you insist, I don't mind killing things, so I will join in the fun when I can

The members of the Shadow Court, Knights, warriors and Magi have been on and off battling the Darkness that is trying to overun the Lycaneum.

The wisps seem to fall quickly at our hands but the stream of them was endless. We cannot see where they are coming from or indeed see a way to seize their arrival at this time.

They come under the Fey super slayer catagory which according to stratics at this time only spawns on the pixie swatter !
