I went to Luna bank to try and sell my Blackthorns Kryss "Demon Slayer"...a player said he bought his other one for 500k, how in the holy he77 is that possible? It took 800,000 points, a whole lot of Frostwood boards I might add, to claim this, and players are selling them for 500k? Can somebody please step in and do something about this, if it's true? It takes roughly 4 hrs to gold farm 500k, it took me, god only knows how many countless hours to donate enough boards to claim this item. This has got to be fixed....my god.

Depending on the shard you play, I'd say he was more than likely a crack-head. Demon and Undead are the two ya can charge the most for. I sell most of em at 1m ea and demon or undead at 1.5-2m ea. I am yet to have one on a vendor for more than a few days except maybe arachnid. I guess it's possible he found one for 500k if the seller was hurting for gp's and had extras but more likely he was just trying to get it cheap.

That's just 1 guy! Don't worry about it.

He could of gotten his that cheap for many reasons...

1)His mom sold it to him.

2)He brought it off a dupper buddy.

3)He brought it off a quitting UO big sale vendor.

4)He's lying to you.

5)He's high!

SO like I said, I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Definately true. All kinds of activity out there.

Though its sometimes true too (but not nearly as often) - that people get something once, crazy cheap. Some Folks throw out the most incredible stuff too (well ok, i live in LS Luna, sue me), as well as people naievely selling things outrageously low - some of them posted in isolated vendors, prices set years go even.

For me personally - I've found buying and selling depends a lot on being at the right place at the right time. But if you have some relic or sweet item.. Xeno is right, somebody out there is definately going to wanna buy it.
