zeroshade has brought up thefollowing topic over on Stratics

Does this really work the way its intended???

Whirlwind takes 5 mana and attempts to hit everyone 1 tile from you and only takes tacts to use

Frenzied whirlwind takes 20 mana and the only damage it does beside the target is 2 pulses of 1-2 damage to everyone 1 tile from you and takes bushido and tacts to use

I would think it would supposed to do the same as whirlwind plus pulses of 25-50% of the initial damage.

Right now its possibly the most useless weapon skill on sosaria and takes the most mana

It's been that way for a while. Since not many people complain about it, it doesn't get the attention. Just one of those bugs in UO that will just be there.

I think it there should be some attention drawn to this.

I'd really like to use the tetubo; but the specials are not really that good at all

while dorkuberalles posted it was even like that from the beta test of SE

it nevered worked, even in SE beta it did the same thing.

it's suppose to be like doing 3 whirlwinds in a row (like the barbarian's whirlwind in 'diablo 2' as one dev mentioned), which would've been cheaper than the original whirlwind cost. since the reduction in cost of whirlwind awhile back, whirlwind is vastly superior.
