I found error megacliloc basket with error megacliloc books in it on test center shard. What the heck? I was in FEL bucs ans saw it on the ground. I picked it up, but I think a developer wants it. Its is full of errors! if a developer reads this come get it! (my tc name is Kel'T Is BACK)

IF you patch? I just tried to enter UO without patching. The UO window closes. No patch, no play. Kinda like back when I wanted to log in for a special event but there was a huge patch. No patch, no play. I missed the event while the patch downloaded.

Not everyone that plays UO is on a broadband connection. Some of us have to rely on *gasp* dialup. Not that anyone at EA/UO really cares. Seen the PASSWORDS thread?

If there is a way, as Wilki has hinted, to play without the current patch, I would love to hear it.

If you use UOAssist when you get to the patch screen you push cancel and you can start UO without patching.

Also you can goto your install directory (usualy c:\program files\EA Games\Ultima Online) and run UO.exe I think. That will also skip over the patching part.

Be carefull though. If you dont patch regularly you miss some of the art and localization files. If you spend too long sometimes you are unable to connect to the game servers.

The patch is only 150k in size. Even at 3k per second, that's less than a minute.
