How rare is Frostwood?
Wilki: Frostwood is quite rare... on the order of 1/10th of 1% rare.

Re: How rare is Frostwood?
Waaaaaaitttt a minute....
We have trees. Each tree gives a type of wood. Some trees give oak. (and normal) Does that mean if a lumby is off chopping at a tree he knows gives oak theres a 1/10 of 1% chance he will get frostwood from that tree? Or does that just mean one in one hundred trees gives frostwood.

Re: How rare is Frostwood?
1/10 of 1% is some weird math.. so, 1% is 1 in 100 then is 1/10 of that 1 in 10000? (sounds about right as far as i've seen)
And no, the frost wood is on a specific tree, it will never have oak etc on it. Thing I've found with it is an area might have oak, and you;ll drain an area of trees by logging one single tree, the special woods are only on one tree in that area. |

Re: How rare is Frostwood?
It's another way of saying, chop for 12 days straight and you'll find it at least once. I found TWO today!

one tenth of one percent is one in a thousand. as rare as this sounds, i am guessing if we were told the number on valerite, it would be simular. Just like mining highend ore though, once you find it (or others on shard) it can be marked and returned to when the wood refreshes. |
