The persons complaining did not remove their vendors after being PROBABLY being warned that this house and the account were being actioned for duping. They left the vendors there at their own peril and when they delete the house, everything goes. Some persons after noting Banned Luna Account houses being deleted started emptying their vendors at the remaining houses because the GMs delete the house and all vendors. We can wait on the official word though.

One of the people affected posted that they had no warning. Perhaps he didn't even know the owner was banned. There was a Luna house on Atlantic owned by a guildmate who has been gone for the better part of a year. The vendor owners were not in contact and just kept stocking/paying rent as usual. Eventually the owner came back and sold the house to another guildmate. But what if he was banned and none of them knew?

When the owners houses were actioned all vendors were taken down. The owners of the vendors then had to contact GMs to get their vendors back up and working at the banned persons houses. They then should have known to remove their vendors from that house as with the last precedent, all vendors and the homes were deleted. They should have removed the vendors after the GMs reinstated their vendors. They did not and paid a hefty price.

Many may have thought these properties would go through a normal decay cycle and tried to control the decay process by using their vendors. That was a bad gamble if that was there intention. I saw the intelligent ones on different shards claiming their gold and items after the first Atlantic Luna house was deleted vendors and all.

Some of y'all have beat me to the post, but I had to verify.

What happened last night had nothing to do with any bug. One of the devs asked CS to delete the houses since they were about to fall. (Deleting the houses before they fell ensured that none of the items inside could fall to the ground and allow the ill-gotten goods back into the word.) A list of all the houses was handed over to the UO CS lead. Me and some of the guys had been told that everything in the duper houses (that DIDN'T belong to a duper) had been moved into a Top Sekrit Location, and players had appealed to get the stuff back.

We're not sure how the heck this happened, but somehow a handful of vendors either got left behind, or mistakenly moved from quarantine. They were deleted. This was our screwup. What steps we take next, to show how sorry we are to those people, is still under discussion. I do apologize that it happened.

Mistakes happen. If you start down the slippery slope of returning items you will quickly find yourself in a deep hole. These vendors were at a house's owned by a duper, the vendor's Owner should have known better. Players should be keenly aware from whom they are renting spots. Your apoligy is nice, but the greater good has been served by eliminating the Dupers.

So, my part of this is as follows: There are a number of threads knocking around about all of the house placement activity that took place as these houses were falling. As near as we can tell, other than the fact that many houses dropped at once, there was no conspiracy or anything going on with this. The people who tend to win house placements tended to get these, and that's a discussion for another day - and hopefully we're a step closer to pinning down one more bug in the whole process - but the only way in which the process was different from a normal IDOC was that the houses were deleted rather than left to collapse. Hopefully that helps clarify a bit.

That is not exactly what happened. The houses did not all fall at once. They fell at seperate times throughout 3 days so far and yet this person knew which houses to go to and when and on what shard. He did not just sit at every single luna house hoping to get lucky. He also did not just happen to sit at the right house at the right time. Noone is that lucky.
We have also repeatedly stated that he has a bugged pitcher in which he can fill and empty barrels with one click. He then uses this bugged pitcher as an exploit. Is that ok too?

Why wasn't the ULT castle on ICE island on the GL Server deleted then? It was owned by the same person that owned both luna houses, or so I was told.

Yeah...I don't think much was answered. can we get some answers please? Is it all done? Will there be another major deletion in the next few days? Will they be deleted with no decay stage?

Did we seriously just get an official reply that "ya the same person who always gets em got em,whats the problem"? or am I misunderstanding?

I agrre with the posters opinions. However its wierd that Nixon's house hasn't been removed form Sonoma. Not the K4H Nix, but the luna vendor owner. Nixon had two accounts, one is still active, the other has been closed, but the house not removed. So whats going on here. The GM's need to look a lil closer about who is paying for accounts, and ban those form the same name/credit card.
