Having fun with Scripters...

I was out and about looking for Black Rock pieces. And on my travels I came across the same person chopping wood. In many different spots. I marked the spots and came back with my worker. Turns out these spots are Frostwood locals. I happen to mark 4 locals to where this person was chopping wood. But the funny part is this. They did not take the wood with them. They left it on the ground. Each spot had about 2K of wood there. I asked the person many times at these different spots, if they wanted the wood or not. I did not get an answer. So I kept checking on them thru the day. By the time I got home from work, I decided to check back on my new found friend. Sure enough, each spot they were chopping at had almost 8K of wood now. So I hopped on my worker char, and proceeded to go to each spot, and move the large amounts back to my place. And the person continued to chop wood and leave it on the ground. To help them out I left a few pieces of wood on the ground. Many thanks to my new friend, for showing me some new Frostwood locals, and gathering all that wood for me. You saved me a full day of chopping.

On Atlantic I met a nice player while doing the human to elf quest, so my resource gatherer had a better chance at finding the higher-end woods. Long story short, he showed me a rune library filled with books for many many locations, from frostwood to oak.

One saturday I hit one of the more dangerous ones with heavy spawn all around, only to find said UOA macroer, with a pile of 20k+ frostwood, nicely piled up. After cutting it up into boards I left one log and from 9AM to about 10PM just keep coming back in between my other tree locations. I never did get to see a name of the player, so I left a book and a message thanking them for all the free frostwood, and to please cut it up into boards for me next time!

While looking for Blackrock last week my thief comes across the Vesper museum and someone who is lugging a box weighing like 60k (guessing) off a boat and to the donation box. So I hide to see what he is doing and realize that he has like 40k frostwood and 40k bloodwood and 40k heartwood in the box. So, as he is donationg, 500 at a time, so am I in stealth mode. Then some guy comes along and starts doing the same. At which point the donater is yelling "Leave my wood alone" Um, floor wood is free wood last time I checked. Needless to say, with about 50k wood left, he begins trying to leave, so I picked up the box and just held it in the air until the both left. Hauled it updtairs, onto my ship I had in my pack and sailed around the side to the bank.

Thank you so much for my new primer on arms plus the other two reward choices I have not chosen. My thief has had no play in some time and it was nice to be all thiefy like again.

Oh....I accidentally exposed myself at one point and the guy said stop stealing my wood. My only response was, "hello.....thief". I felt very rougish indeed.
