Meteor Slams into Farmer’s Field!

At 7:05 A.M. local time a small meteor crashed right into the heart of Britain’s western farms. Intrepid reporter, yours truly, has been on the scene all morning taking reports from witnesses and interviewing one “Waldo the Rancher,” whose field is now home to a large, brownish, spherical ball of potential doom.

“Thank the Virtues it did’na land on me roof!” Waldo exclaimed during the interview, “At least ‘tis mostly harmless, I gather. The guards from Britain be coming though to investigate ‘gardless though.”

A large crowd has gathered around the perimeter of the meteor. A few have snuck closer to the crash-site to take away souveneirs in the form of small rocks, while others are desperately trying to cast spells on the fallen rock.

The local Britain government has advised the crowd to stay ruly and stop casting spells on strange objects; a special squadron of soldiers is apparently in route to set up a formal barrier sometime soon. Until then, this is Sherry, live in Britain.

Explosions rock crash site!

I can't believe it! Explosions and gouts of flame have pushed back both the guards and crowd from the meteor's perimeter! What manner of portent is this? Even now the Royal Militia has been put on high alert and the local guards are awaiting reinforcement.

Do they know something we don't?

I... I don't know how to describe this. This is beyond all experience!

The meteor, after a giant flash, began glowing and hovering over its resting place. I'm told that all cities in Britannia have been put on a special alert, and an envoy has been sent to Tokuno to apprise the Empress of the situation developing in our beloved homeland.
