Optimistically it would be nice to believe it, however imo I would never have the foresight to work around the system this way as a young player. Also I'm pretty sure even tho in the beginning I had help getting started from friends I know I never went anywhere unless they "took" me there. So my gut tells me it's probably not new players but if it is woot grats and good for you for having the gumption to jump into an event like this and hopefully the experience will make you more inclined to play the game! And if you were able to loot something cool ..sell it fast before the market is flooded and prices drop!
