Thread :- Jeremy_Mythic i need your help Comment I have a old account and on that account i have a bless deed for my charactor and i try to bless a shield and it says it is not my deed! I paged a gm and asked what was going on and the reply was a link that sent me to a EA page about when the deeds and mini houses were handed out. I have not played this perticular charactor since aos except for the gift log ins and maybe a total of 1 hour. If you can find the time to look into my charactor and his bless deed it would be greatly appriciated. ############################ Send me a PM with the ticket number, character name, and account name, and I'll take a look. ############################ Can you 'fix' the GM that didnt take the time to look at the issue , while you at at it? ############################ i agree, fix teh GM seriously NO ONE wants to get a canned auto responce, i think most everyone will agree that all we want is for a GM to actually appear like they use to and help, or try anyhow. i remember days when there would be a GM at the moonglow counselers building standing there answering questions from people walking up to the GM. ahhh the good old days , at least the memory's are not all gone ... yet ############################

Thread :- Kind of a strange issue.... on UOTech
Comment I usually play on Atlantic, but due to the Holiday gifts, I had need to try logging onto every other shard (to claim gifts on characters I don't often use). I can log on normally to North American shards, but when I try to log onto Yamoto, I can hear UO sounds, and I get an AllNames briefly, but no other graphics (background map, my char, etc.) except the residual UO Login Screen. Has anyone heard of this before? As I said, I can log cleanly onto most other shards (I don't have characters on most of the other Asian Shards... just Yamoto). Using the 2D client. I'm not looking to troubleshoot the issue... Just wondering if anyone has seen a similar issue before. Any comments are appreciated. ############################ No, cant say Ive heard of that exact issue before, but similar things. Have you been able to walk around a bit with the char? This kind of thing used to happen to me all the time in Ilsh, where I would get borked up graphics, but the game itself seemed like it was running fine. Moving around for a second or two seemed to rectify it... ############################ Hey there, Thanks for the response. No, I can't move around, but I do see NPC names, and can hear them walking around. Also, if I type something to say, it doesn't appear in the lower-left screen, but if I hit enter, it shows up as I am saying it. Two things to mention... 1) When I try moving my cursor around the screen, it still points to the upper left (normally, when you move the cursor around your character, it will point away from them. In this case, I don't think my character is registering properly. 2) I can create a new character, and see things just fine. Is this 'blackholing'? Or can you not hear anything when you are blackholed? I may just have to call EA support, or page a GM on new character. ############################ Yeah, if you can click the help button while on that char, Id page on the messed up one. If not, new char and wait out the queue and Id bet that they will right you straight away. ############################ Hmm, I had a similar issue yesterday. I was at the blackrock area of T2A trammel on Lake Superior, and I was hidden (fortunately). Suddenly I was frozen. I could not move, and my animation was stuck. But people were talking around me in real time, and I could tell that the game was not frozen--just me. Suddenly after about 45 seconds, a blackrock elemental and a nether vortex seemed to appear out of nowhere next to me (I probablly just hadn't seen them coming with that half-crash), and then I could move again. Thread :- Correspondence from Minax bug - can't get rid of it on the Bug Reporting Forum
Comment I picked up two of these at the Citadel, not knowing that it would cause a problem. I double clicked one and accepted the quest, then completed it and got my reward. When I try to do the second one, following the exact same steps as before, I get the message that I completed the quest and to return for my reward. Then it says I don't have all the items I need. I have 0 item(s), and need 1. I cannot drop the correspondence or otherwise get rid of it. Cancelling the quest does not get rid of the quest item. The only thing that seems to work is to send it to the bank with a bag of sending. I paged a GM, explaining what happened, and got a canned response that they can't help with quests. Obviously they didn't actually read my help request. How can I get rid of this thing? ############################ Two days later Hello? I'd really like this bugged item out of my inventory. ############################ Your only chance is to call a gm and get it removed. Use simple terms so they will understand it. I had that too. Thread :- PBD Broken After Xfer'ing Char in the Bug Reporting Forum
Comment I recently xfer'd all my chars to a new shard. My mages PBD was box'd and transfered with another char about a week before the mage was moved. Didn't need it at the time so it stayed box'd for a week or so. Well... last week I got one of the Inscription Taly's with 27 exceptional/30 inscription. HUGE and of course I wanted to use my pbd on it so I dont run the risk of losing it. Go to the box, pull it out, 2x click on it,.....and it says I am not the owner. wtf Paged a GM about it, Got "knowledge base" response. So I check the Knowledge base, which is of course worthless. So I page again explaining prob and that Knowledge base has no relevant info. Second canned response saying check knowledge base and/or sumbit the question by email, which I did. Still no word about it and still no working pbd. The whole purpose of xfer'ing the char rather that soul stoning all her skills, xfering the stones and building new char on new shard was the char age and her having a PBD. Has anyone else had an issue with this? Is there a way to get em fixed? ############################ i once had that problem with a really nice crossbow.. i moved my archer from legends back to chessy, and when my house fell and the xbow was in there, it went to auction. a buddy of mine bought the bow, and i tried to claim the deed from the bow, to no avail... paged a gm, they guaranteed that the pbd was not mine (even though i had proof it was)... so i lost my pbd, but i do still have the bow.. just in case. ############################ When you transfer a character that character gets a new id. I think that the id on the pbd didnt change because it wasnt on your character when you transfered.

Comment I have a total of 5 characters that went missing off one of my accounts. 3 on Sonoma, and 2 on Origin. They were all there last night, around 10:30pm Central time when I logged on briefly to the account. There is no sign of being hacked as my keep and all my rares are untouched. Just 5 character have gone *Poof* I have gone thru the proper channels, just haven't heard anything back yet. Has this happened before? Is there something wrong with the servers? Is there anything else I can do about this? ############################ I know once before there was a glitch and a lot of 6th slot characters were missing in action. Apparently they were still there just not visible to us. You could check the uo roster and see if you chars are still showing up as active. They may still be there just not visible to you for some reason that only the UO gods know. As to who to ask...hmmm....well perhaps one of the gods could check into it. Have you tried PMing Jeremy? ############################ Wow that stinks. I would change your password just to be sure. Hope they turn up!! ############################ all are elder or higher, and heavily played characters. No, I haven't pm'd Jeremy, who is he? (sorry I am a bit new to staff) *^^* oh! And YES!! changing my password was the first thing I did lol ############################ I have heard of unplayed characters with only their starting skillpoints being deleted as part of normal server maintenance, but if these are characters that you play then they should not be disappearing like that. Jeremy_EAMythic is the person you want to PM. It's a she, not a he (don't ask).
