I remember one time, I paged a GM back when Black Dye Tubs had been released and mine had disappeared.

I page a GM and wait about 5 mins and guess what appears outside my tower? a GM, he comes in and chats, then another GM appears and then 3 counselors appear, I wish I still had the screen shots. After we all chatted and they chatted one of the GM's "found" my black dye tub somewhere in my house. hehe

not only do I feel they are understaffed, I feel they do not have staff members that do an adequate job. There are some that are outstanding and others that are not so much (and I have personal experience on the not so much side of life, unfortunately).

I think if they hired more people it would be an improvement as long as they were hiring the RIGHT people.

Speaking of corporate policies, has anyone seen a number in the queue higher than 6 lately? I think they adopted a policy where they dont actually give real numbers...

When my wife was waitress at TGIFridays, you were required to tell people it would be "about 20 minutes" to get a table no matter how long the actual wait time was.

I do want to add to that anytime a GM has come to me for anything, they were fantastic to deal with. Probably a total of 5 times in 3 years of playing...

Hey that can be one of them jokes like, "How many Kentuckians does it take to... (whatever you want)"

Except this be, "How many UO GM's does it take to locate a black dye tub?"

I think it is just like any other job in the world. Some people working there are true slackers. Others work hard at the job, giving it their best. And just like any other job anywhere else, their seems to be a whole lot of slackers. Gotta remember there are people on the other side of the pixels. And these are people who see UO as a job, not a game, and some of them are probably sick to death of it.
