Er... what's going to happen to the various Haven quests such as Elwood the Collector? Doesn't the Cloak of Humility require an npc in Haven, too?

Will Elwood the Collector be moved to the new Haven?

What about the cave east of Luna then? The one Horus has been guarding for years. If its not going to be used anymore leaving it blocked off for eternity would be pointless. Hopefully they remove the fields there. And hopefully they remember to also remove the blocking of that one cave on most shards that used to be the Haven mines.

For now, the cave will remain blocked - just in case we wanna do something special with it for a live event. But I will note this for further discussion with the team.

Is the arms lore change for smithy crafted only or for both tailor & smithy?

The arms lore change is for any crafting skill that can produce exceptional weapons and armor (but not shields)

What about the bonus? Does it stack with all the other bonus? Is it true that you get +5 on every resist if you're GM Arms Lore? Does that include crafting with runics and crafting artifacts and special armors?

Artifacts and the like that have fixed magical properties will not receive an arms lore bonus. Only weapons and armor (but not shields) that can be crafted exceptionally will receive the bonus.

It's actually +5 total resists spread out randomly amongst the resists. I mispoke terribly!

Runics receive this bonus as well.

If Haven is getting nuked, we should have a tunic or shirt that says "I survived the destruction of Old Haven."

If I may ask, why such huge bonus on armors, yet next to no bonus on weapons (just like with material properties), I mean 5% DI increase is of course better than nothing, but this would only affect really high damaging weapons if anything.

Why not make it higher? like 10% or 15% at GM

No. Hats don't have a base physical resist. Therefore, they will not receive the arms lore bonus.

Are any of us on dialup going to be able to patch this big a publish patch ?? Will we have to be shut out of UO if this does not dwld for us at all or at all well ?



We do not wish to be shut out of the UO we have played for yrs. just cuz we are stuck on slow dial up with all this KR stuffs.
