It enhances bandages, 10 per day, this much I know.

But - I read that the bandages worked as +10 to healing - useless if you're already at cap?

I read that they heal more hp - true or false?

I read that it was bugged and didn't work as it should?

So, what exactly does it do?

I'm confused and seeking enlightenment.

OK, according to the reward selection gump where you get to choose your 8th Anniversary Gift:

Soaked bandages grant +10 to Healing skill.



And an increase in healing skill should also bring about an increase in the actual amount of damaged healed.

I've only heard that you can't use these bandages to exceed your healing skill cap though, never actually tested it myself. And I'm unaware of any bugs, but that doesn't mean much .




Have heard the enhanced aids will heal as if you had 130 vet if you have 120 vet.....120 if you have 110 ect.. and as everything in game it depends on the RNG on the actual amount of damage healed at that use of the aides just as the rng determines the amount of damage per use with normal bandages....

I use nothing but enhanced bandages. We have a house with about 35 fountains on the top floor.

They increase the healed points on pets and also give my tamer a better chance of rezing a dead pet.

They rock.

The enhanced bandages work on Veterinary as well as Healing? I was under the impression they didn't, or is that a typo?

And yes, the amount of damage healed depends on how the RNG is feeling at the time, however! The amount of damage to be healed should be given as a range, with both maximum and minimum values increasing with increased skill.

EDIT: Huh, I never knew it worked on Veterinary. Finally something I can do with my stack! Since I have only one fountain, I don't use the enhanced aids on a regular basis. I save them for dealing with monsters that do higher damage on pets that I've only begun training. It makes a huge difference.

My hubby, however, is a legendary vet and hasn't noticed a difference when he uses them so I believe it is capped at 120 skill.

So, what exactly does it do?

OK, just to clear things up, enhanced bandages effectively add 10 points to your healing skill. I can vouch for this, because with the 75 healing that I used to have, I could still res people, it took a while tho. But I always use enhanced bandies, I always have a stock of 1000. Anyone on Sonoma needing enhanced bandies - TIP for you, kill a char called Aslan, he always carries 100 enhanced bandies.

I killed one guy last nite who must have been going into despise for 1 week long expodition, he had 500 bandies, 100 of which were enhanced, 70 Pots of various sorts, 10 grapes of wrath, 10 enchanted apples, and some petals. And he was worth a 6k paycheck. I was like JACKPOT. The whole guild got a decent helping of stuff for an hour long crusade. Next time I see him, I'm gonna thank him. That one death must of cost him in excess of 10k :grin:
