Opening the patch screen to get into UO a few minutes ago, I looked at the blurb on the blackrock traders. Nothing out of the ordinary, right? Look at the picture next to it:




The five slot boxes on a paperdoll that isn't theirs? Hmm...

This is one of two things, in my opinion. Either it's a new and very welcomed feature of the 2D client update that will be happening next week (According to Jeremy and taken from this post), or it's a slip of the god powers that EA has.

Either way, it's interesting, but, Hey, if it isn't a feature that's coming to us, why the heck not? I can't count the times that I have stumbled around on a paperdoll to look at a ring that someone is selling (I have very shaky hands), only to have it be useless or an overpriced piece of junk.

Anyways, speculate, talk, whatever...

The screenshot was probably taken in first-person.
Either a Trader been "possessed" by a Dev or whatever, or the aforementioned Dev/whatever in trader cosplay.

thats what it looks like and for it to stay like that..... the paperdolls look NOTHING like the old ones (well except the concept)

Hm, didn't notice that - Draconi took that shot, so I bet it's a god-power thing. To the best of my knowledge it's not a feature.

Yep, that picture came straight out of the design document; it was made with god-powers so QA could have full details on what they wear and look like.

If you look very closely you'll notice that he's not even in Haven...
