Wonder how many are left working on UO now, heh

Well family first. It's sad to see him go, but I'm glad he is taking care of family things before the game.

I'm sure they have new people coming aboard...it will be interesting to meet some more of them. Grimm seems to be good for the team so far...I'm curious to know who is replacing some of the other devs.

I saw a thread about it on Stratics but didn't see his input. I guess now it is oficial.

I think that pretty much wraps up the live team unless I'm missing somebody.

While I am not assuming that he's being untruthful, I wouldn't blame anyone who leaves the team to fib about their reasons upon their departure. It just fuels the masses imaginations about what's going on behind the scenes at EA. Outsourcing is the first thing that comes to mind over and over again in my mind. But, we won't know for sure until there's some sort of announcement.

I'll give Tact the benefit of the doubt and hope that everything turns out ok with the family. It must have been something pretty massive to drop a whole career for instead of just taking a leave of absence.

Well from knowing Leuocrian's real reasons (I have my sources), I don't doubt for a moment that what these guy's are saying is true.

Sometimes even little things are worth more then a job.

Yah.. that's why I said "benefit of the doubt". I read a statistic a couple years ago that said 50% of people lie or fib about their reasons for quitting whether that be to better justify their decision or to exaggerate a lateral move. *shrugs*

Like I said, it must have been one doozy of a crisis.. and I hope he and his family is ok. Bad things seem to be happening to alot of UO people recently.. I know at least 3 people including our own Kimi who have had trajedies in the past 72 hours.

ha ha Now that I believe though. We lie to Tefret's job all the time...and soon it will to leave them! hehehe

*chuckles* I did it years ago.. told my boss I was moving out of state.. I took a job where my new office was located in the office building right next door... I could see my boss from new desk. hehe
