I really would like an answer from the Community Reps on this one.

Personally its unfair that not all shards would have one, and from previous posts it seems only 1/2 the shards DO have one. It can't be from lack of applicants, I know at least 3 people who have tried to contact Glamdring regarding my shard to ask about the program.

Come Monday I'm hoping there will be an honest answer or some insight.

I never heard at all why, It would be nice to see them on all that's for sure. I am guessing this will end up waiting till after uo:kr though.

A GOOD QUESTION!!!!!

Why are only SOME shards punished / penalized by having EMs? Shouldn't all shards be forced to deal with this problem equally? Personally I think all shards - even the oh so precious Japanese shards should be forced to deal with lag, broken events and damaged game environments left over from porrly ran EM events.

I came in at the very end of the last EM cycle, so I can honestly say I don't know how it was set up or why some shards never got events. I have a meeting scheduled soon to discuss the next cycle, though, and I will certainly bring that up as an issue.
