Player: well Origin has been a regular yo-yo today. been up and down 5 times at least since last publish. better hope they fix the problem before your shard gets published.

Player: Spent 5 hours at Travesty tonight. Both times we got keys got down there, Shard Yo Yoed and we got booted. Fix the damn publish before ya send it to all other shard. Jesus christ

They created Origin to test all the releases before it got to the other shards? Then what is the test center for?

I don't really have an answer to that.. but it really doesn't matter, Origin was specifically created to be the first shard to recieve new things.. it is like an advanced TC... anyone on this server should know this and not complain when a publish goes bad

the shard acts more like a normal shard..you can't set your skills/stats that kind of thing. So after it's done on TC, it goes to Origin to be tested once more for bugs.

Most people knew that's what the shard was for when they went there to play...

I have a char there, but never use him. Mostly on Legends and Siege. Mostly on Legends....trying to be mostly on Siege too. Oh, and Baja. That one is fun too. Again, the test center is for the testing of development and Origin is the testing of how the publish is actually going to go. Yeah, makes sense.

I believe there's actually a gump that pops up before you create a character on Origin.. at least there was when it first opened. This goes hand in hand with "did you read the instructions" or "did you read the user agreement"? Answer is predominantly "no."

Also I would have to think that Origin would be good for finding bugs that are not found on test. As it is a regular shard people are more likely to do the little things that might be bugged where as thoose little things are not tested on Test center because most people are busy checking out the old content. For example resource gathering had not changed in ages and you would be given all the resources u need when logging on to test. SO when they would make a publish to test nobody would know if there was bugs or not because they would never go resource gathering as they had all they need. (this obvioulsy doesnt apply for ML but would be true for most other publishes or expansions. )
