Does JOAT mess up Parry because you get 20 Bushido?

I just saw this question in the Warrior forum and thought it was a very good one that deserves an answer, if not a fix, if it turns out to be true and not intended. It would appear that being Human gives a -5% to Parry.

Assuming Stratics Parry calculator reflects current formulae:

Parry 100; Bushido 0; Dexterity 100
Parry w/shield - 30%
Parry 1 handed - 17%
Parry 2 handed - 17%

Parry 100; Bush 20; Dexterity 100
Parry w/shield - 25%
Parry 1 handed - 17%
Parry 2 handed - 17%

Parry 100; Bush 50; Dexterity 100
Parry w/shield - 17%
Parry 1 handed - 17%
Parry 2 handed - 17%

So, at 20 Bush JOAT it appears there is an effect.

Devs? Wanna confirm/deny?

No, it does not.

When JoAT was introduced, MrTact specifically commented on this issue by posting that real Bushido skill is used for the penalty instead of Bushido skill modified by JoAT.

I would post a link, but it looks like the Mondain's Legacy boards are not kept in the Stratics Archive...

Of course, it might be changed/bugged/whatever since then, but this is how it is supposed to work according to what we were told at the time.
