Info for all who have been wondering when this starts.Posted today 10/22/07

Does anyone know when something is actually going to happen in Magincia? We've had all this talk and buildup... and nothing is goin on... When can we expect all these great things to take place? Anyone have any idea?

Midweek I should expect.

As mentioned below there's a certain amount of fixing and polish that we wanted to accomplish beforehand. You can look forward to another, much more intense, day of testing on TC! Mwaha.

The schedule for the move was set up so that we could hit all of our currently planned short-term goals (through November.) Longer-term goals will depend on who chooses to move and how fast we can replace the people who decide not to. (Which is why no one's talking about ship dates for SA right now - it's just too uncertain.)

Sorry I didn't get to this thread last night - Chris is on the West Coast this week, and I'm on the East, helping out with things over here. 9:30 PDT was 12:30 EDT, and I was sleeping the sleep of the stressed.

But is the event in threat with the laying off of so many devs?

3 things that really concern me about this event are.

1. Is it ever going to happen.

2. If it is switched on will it be left on for weeks/months whilst they move/get new staff?

3. If the key Devs behind the Inu story line leave will it be yet another fiction left unfinished ingame, we already have loads of redundant items littering Sosaria, ie wanted posters etc.

That says to me the event isnt affected.However in spite of that and that 'the event is ready to go ' doesnt say that it WILL still happen.

Guess we will have to hope for some update in todays Five on Friday.

There is no reason to believe that it won't happen, way too much work is in place. Starting the event will at least keep most folks mind off the inner workings of EA, so at the very least it would be a great diversion. *shrugs*
If it doesn't start today (Friday) I doubt we'll see the start till at least Monday. I don't ever remember an event kicking off on the weekend.

Mwaha......................That to me if worth a thousand words. There is lack of intensity in that attempt at a scary laugh. It was rushed and thoughtless.It's Halloween..Should have been more like:
