I was just gonna make a post about this myself. According to a few other players, it never came back up from this morning's maintenance at 5am. You would have thought someone would have asked by now or it would have been fixed.

Hopefully soon means soon. I wish they'd give some 411 on why it's been down for so long, too. It'd be funny to hear about how some intern spilled his morning coffee on the rack.

Still down when I checked less than 10 min ago.
Could be worse, I did a bunch of laundry, set up the Christmas Tree, cleaned my car, and picked up the rest of the house...
Now I have to go to work, sos Im hopin its back when I get off at 11p EST.
I dont remember any shard being offline for this long....

Wow. I can't believe it has been down this long. Did anyone check to make sure the server is plugged in?
(the picture below is purely in good fun and I hope your server is up and running again soon! With everything intact! . Even though it's been a while, we've had our share of hardware problems on Europa! I wish you strength and patience!)

First, I apologize for the lack of updates from us. But the trouble is, we have no new information on the situation with the Catskills shard to give you. The engineers are all 100% focused on solving this problem, and if they were to take time to explain things to the community weenies, it might delay getting the shard back where it belongs. Please know that the team will not stop working on this (they’ll stay the night if they have to) until you can log back in.

Heh, it's a lot more mundane than that - Character Transfer only works when servers have the same version, and Cats will be slightly different until we publish everything sometime next week.
