Yes, the devs are certainly cracking the whip this year. In some ways it is good

First they brought down their mighty hammer on the corrupted business practices of some of the largest multi-million dollar enterprises.

Next the devs sent us the reaper....who cursed the artifacts so exploited by those huge excessively overpriced mega malls.

Then to make it appear that the December first UO holiday season actually started on time, they gave us an old gift.

But actually we got COAL (blackrock)! The developers are so laughing at us while we work hard digging up and dieing for this COAL.

I think they have to be laughing at the Game Master department with this black rock.
I cant count the times I have heard ppl say, Im paging on you, Im paging on you.
I'm sure the GM's are getting numerous pages from that area.
My sympathy is with you!

Make everyone run around and find Santa to get our gifts, but make the gifts worthwhile. Something like christmas colored hooded shrouds, and cursed arties with special names.
