On Clothing Art
Player: Ooh! That brings up a question for GrimmOmen!!
Grimmy: Chainmail changes form depending on what gender equips it. Why, then, do kimonos and elf robes have to be crafted into male or female pieces? Why couldn't they be the same item that just appears differently when worn? Grimm: OK, this is just wierd. Want to know whats second from the top of my "hope to do" list? Hint: This thread hits it dead on the head.Player: Which brings up the question, what is the top thing on your list? Grimm: Well, the #1 thing on my wish list is to redo some of the UOSE assets. We really didn't have the asset pipeline down enough then. So that's #1 on my "I hope I get to do" list.Player: My swordswoman might be a ferocious warrior, but it doesn't mean she doesn't want to look good, too. CatHat: Yeah i hear ya - the omin present battle between looks and function. CatHat: Hey well rather than making 'magical' clothing options that change it from tight to loose fit - we'll just need to make some new items in the future that are more 'sexy' for both men and women. Heh UO clubwear - SLUTWEAR dunna dunna dunna - yay!Player: Please no! There is NO logical reason at all for platemail armor have extentions in them to put boobs in. And even less reason to have heavy platemail that leaves the top part of the chest exposed. I don't want to see boobs, and I definately do not want to see skin. CatHat: What I meant by "extesions in the platemail" is that the cup size could be more pronounced or larger on some armor sets. Something with more visibility about the fact that under that armor there's a female character. So when you see the tiny armor running across the screen - you'll go oh - "ok that's a girl." ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: On Clothing Art
I think the last "player" to respond is scared of girlies and their assets...

Re: On Clothing Art
I am, in fact, a 57 year old grandmother and while I don't want my granddaughters and grandsons subjected to Mature themes.. I DO want to look the part I have chosen. I am certain that is possible. In another thread I participated in recently, we 'opted' for 'better endowed' ladies and more feminine looking nice outfits. That is not outside the realm of possiblilty of having while also NOT getting raunchy in design. All it takes is the desire to do it, (and tons of help from the designers and developers
) Thank you all for at least having this on a burner somewhere!:cheesy: (I would offer to flirt with you for effect, but your girlfriend might object. A 38D lady is not to be ignored, we just don't take it well!!! ![]() ![]() ~ "It's definitely a Bubble Bath Day.". ~ Dove Promise ~
