I just witnessed something hilarious. I was running just north of Vesper, and a Blackrock-Infected Chicken came racing toward me - but it didn't attack me. It instead ran past, and killed a Mongbat that was a couple of tiles away Maybe blackrock isn't that bad afterall

Just curious here... did your character who saw the infected critter cast the Armageddon spell?

I only cast it with one character and he seems to be the only one seeing them. I have been running around all over the place with a warrior who has no magery so, obviously, can't cast it and have not seen any.

Heh - The big question is - if you killed, cooked and served the chicken - could it pass on the infestation?

Just wondering cause i'm the type who'd find cooked chicken and on a whim distribute it at a bank as free snacks.

I guess we got the answer to the UO question " Why did the blackrock-infected chicken cross the road ? " didn't we?

To kill the mongbat, obviously....

It was also reported on UHall that someone was attacked by an infected wandering healer, sounds like the blackrock infection is spreading in an unpleasant way.
