I like the new font as it's easier to read.

Definate improvement for these old eyes.

Call me old fashioned but I had to change mine back....I hate just about everything about the 3D mode!

I logged on last night to see what this was all about. I thought it looked like crap. Doesnt fit the rest of the graphics at all. Just like the status bar, does not fit the 2d designs. They would fit the 3d, but when I tried that out also, they had the old status bar. I think maybe they got em mixed up or something.

I don't mind the new font....

I find it easy on the eye and easier to read outside Brit Bank with all the vendors selling..... but what is really getting up my nose is the mouse control, ever since the new patch my lockpicking training has gone to pot.
I'm running in any direction (not always the way I want to go), crashing into walls and if I'm luck enough to get near a chest I tend to overshoot rather than stopping dead.

Is it just me???

I haven't had any problems with my mouse control...that's the first I've heard of that.

Of the text changes..I've been using them to see if I like it or not. So far, it's not too bad. Not sure if I'll keep it this way or go back to the old..but I figured I need to give things at least a week before I jump and decide anything! hehe

They just look too crisp for me, they dont match the rest of the graphics. UO uses really old graphics and the new font just doesnt go with it. You are looking at very bright and crisp words next to old graphics. I just dont buy it. And what is with the 2d getting the new stat bar, but 3d still has the old? I may be going back to 3d again, now that it is smoother though.

That is a good question Bo..I wondered why 3D did not get that change in the stat bar. I wonder if it was just forgotten or overlooked...

And the text thing will become a preference thing for people. I'm happy they put the option in to revert back, otherwise there would be a lot of unhappy people

YahI like that option also. One thing that I never noticed, was that there were 3 places to change the font at. But only 1 of them made it stick after pressing apply. I never had a problem with the stat bar myself, I play on a big enough screen so that nothing encroaches on my play screen, and that is full size, i think the 800x600. Doesnt the 2d bar look like it belongs in 3d? I wish they would give us re-sizable bags and boxes on 2d also. I hate when I go to a vendor that obviously set it up in 2d, and I am on 3d and everything in there is all crammed up at the top. Whenever I look through my stash of power scrolls, I have to do it in 3d, just so I can see them all. When I do it in 2d, they are stacked on top of eachother in 4 piles. It gets to be a real pain!
