I have been reading on some private boards that players that were banned were able to open their old accounts FOR FREE and clean them out. Not all are being able to but some are.

I guess the account being in good standing isn't always the case.

I wonder how much dupped gold and items will find their way back into the game because of this.

If anyone wants a link to where people say they were able to open some banned accounts just pm me.

And it's also good to know that banned players were easily able to rejoin the game on new accounts in the first place! ...oh wait, we all knew that already.

you know whats really sad? that if this is true, then its the second time this exact program has caused the exact same problem.. the first "return to britannia" had the same glitch as this.... and it was fixed for the ones since then till now..

Just a question. Doesn't EA delete banned accounts? I can't imagine why they would keep the information on them longer than the period of an investigation. Would seem strange to keep a banned account unless there was a chance of it being reinstated. Just curious (and ignorant on the subject).

It's not all, most, or even more than a handful of losers slithering back in, fortunately. I can't really comment further right now - this board can be read by scumbags as easily as honest players, and everything I know at the moment could cause problems if I were to post it.

But the team is on it. I'm sorry to be so mysterious, it makes my skin itch.
