Atlantic unstable for days, where are the updates?

There have been no updates since this was posted on UO.com the night of August 29th:

Atlantic is displaying some instability at the moment - we're investigating, and will update when we have more info. In the meantime, please do not put yourself in a dangerous situation!

I am not expecting something like hourly status reports, as Blizzard does with World of Warcraft. But I would hope that there would be timely reports on what is going on. Especially for the largest populated Western shard. Atlantic continued crashing Thursday, I don't know if it has had problems yet today.

So, y'all who were saying the server crashed every time you tried to open a particular book? It's possible you were right. Can one of y'all send/post/describe the exact location of the book, whose house it's in, etc? Pictures and coordinates would be SUPER helpful.

You think EA would fix this matter last night, but its still continues. 5:15pm eastern

update, so at 9:05pm eastern, we are down again. I just hope when we do come back up, im in front of lady mel, she didnt pay so well when we finished her.

Wonder if we could even get some information on the course of atlantics problem.

We've got our engineers on it, but haven't been able to pin it down yet. Will update again when I get another progress report.

Well they were posting that everytime they tried to sign the memorial book for Goodman, Atlantic crashed. I think they changed the book though, so not sure if that's still the case.

Yea as Ally said,it was for the Goodman Memorial[ passed away 2 yrs since]

It started out as a joke ,actually, but seems it could well of been the cause.
