Another Quick Crafting Update

Hello everyone!

The following is currently being tested internally by QA. No promises. You know the drill.

However, we wanted to give you a quick update on crafting today.

Mage armor should no longer attach to runic crafted armor that is excluded from armor penalties for meditation and stealth (e.g., leather armor).

We’re having QA verify that the mage armor property doesn't attach to this type of armor.

Also we’re having QA verify that exceptionally crafted samurai plate armor still receives mage armor as a free property, ensuring no runic properties are wasted.

Night sight should no longer attach to runic crafted elf armor.

We’re having QA verify that night sight no longer attaches to runic crafted elf armor.

We’re having QA verify that runic crafted non-elf armor can receive the night sight item property.

What I don't understand, is why isn't this important information, like the previous crafting update, posted on UO.COM/UOHERALD?

That's what I was thinking too Adam. Doesn't even need to be in the main page. I looked in the Update Centre, General Testing area, not there either.

I asked, because I don't think it's right the info is posted only one one site, that site being a third party one.
It should be posted on the OFFICIAL UO site(s)

Heh, I just assumed UOHerald would be the main portal for all uo news by now.

Seems like more and more they'll say whatever just to get someone off their back ("sure we'll fix _____", "we know about ____ and are working on it", "thanks for the 10-page report on a known scripter, we'll get right on it!", and have nothing done in the course of a week, or decade).

In this case, they took it as far as not even having to do with anything in game, just the info coming out.

If too much stuff got posted to the Hearld it falls off the front page. With the Update section discontinued on UO.com, the "blog" is the only place to post any news. The new system really sucks and they should to revert to the old website.

Well it didn't get posted on today's FoF. I guess her response will be... Well she didn't stay today's FoF.
