Well both my accounts are still the same as they were before the publish and patch. I was wondering if anyone that had the accound age not updating problem got fixed?

I don't think anyone's got fixed. They only fixed the display of the (incorrect) account age in the profile gump.

I suspect that the server that records this is down for them to do the P43 change of +stats for accounts over 6 months. Might need to hang on until P43 to see account ages corrected.

I thought Wilki said they fixed it, but it may take a few weeks before our accounts will update. Something about the database isn't accessed often. I'll see if I can find the exact quote.
There are two issues here:
1. Account age is gibberish. That's what was fixed today. I apologize for misunderstanding the question earlier.

2. Account age is incorrect. I'm told that should be fixed, but the client doesn't check the account database very often, so it can take some time (sometimes a few weeks) for that to update.
That said, we're looking at this again to make sure it is actually working properly.

Ok, so we've been checking some of the accounts that people sent to me in email, and every single one of them is correct. We actually went into the billing history of these accounts, added up the times they were active (a lot of people who think they've never had their account go inactive are mistaken, including me :-P ) and then checked that total against what was in the database, and what was being displayed in that character's paperdoll. In all cases they were either identical, or one month behind (which isn't uncommon, since the database is accurate to the day, while the paperdoll may take a while to get updated).

I'm not sure why there is the perception that account ages are wrong. I suppose there is a small chance that we checked only players who were mistaken, but that's not too likely.

Well, it says 16months on my account. Which is weird because it has to be atleast 96

Mine has been stuck on 36 months for about 4 or so months now....I know this is not right as I have been proudly riding my ethys since June. So its not right on my acct either..

I haven't had any problems with my account age since they last fixed it. Hehe it's not that hard to miscount 13 months.

Maybe I should check our older accounts.

So far mine seems to be fine. I should be like 109-110 given the delayed update thing. I'm showing 109 (shrugs)
