World War 3?

A lot of people keep suggesting we should maintain a closer eye on China. I'm on the fence, post your thoughts

Re: World War 3?

Interesting, ive just finished having this discussion on another UO forum! Although the clientel there are not as polite as they are here!

But Im an optimist, i know people are stupid, and countries are even dumber. But there are lessons we learnt from world wars, and i cant see one happening again!

It wont be China though, China are poised to take over from America as the Global Super Power. But with Russia regaining strength, and the EU uniting, there are three big guns right there! And i fully doubt that America will ever be dormant, even when its empire collapses!

China is more concerned with themighty american dollar then the tank a war with the unites states would undermine there own economy the export 10000% more then they import to the us which also happens to be there best customer.

I think that China wants to play Monopoly, not Risk. Better profit, less headache.

Honestly if the U.S. would quit f*ing with the other countries we wouldn't have most of the problems we have. How often do you hear about countries wanting to blast Canada or Australia (2 of my favorite, and friendly, countries)..We tend to reap what we sow.

Re: World War 3?

You all realize that America is in the midst of a giant under taking that is said to unite Mexico, Canada, and the US into 1 giant union.
This poses 1 large problem in my eyes.
The creation of a new Constituion to live by, as if enough of our liberties have not been taken from us =/
+the US dollar will be gone soon as well and replaced by what they are looking to call the Amero.

Re: World War 3?

im not to usually talk about politics here tends to leave a bad tast in peoples mouth. but in the last 20 years america has lagged behind numerous countries in technology, growth ,andi hate to say it now healthcare.I have always been aware of our surronding goverment but what opened my eyes was the devastation of katrina the lack of country support to our own state it made me sick .What this really showed me was not only was our goverment so pathetic with the war in iraq it also had no clue how to handle domestic issues. They need to get there head out of there asses and handle real issues instead of gettingr rich on oil and off the backs of the working middle n lower class.one quick note all that security they say is goingon by spying in our own country sequestion phone records and social security numbers is not only a infringment of our freedom it is a form of hitlerism and they can go stick that up there you know what as wel

Re: World War 3?

I think it will start in Israel myself. Israeli's think they can do what they want when they want. Sad thing is just because they've been persecuted by Hitler moment you speak out against Israeli's or Jews your a Nazi apparently.

Israel has a chip on its shoulder that'd need a pint on gravy to moisten it. Israel could nuke Palestine tomorrow and everyone in the west would grin and bear it. All they need to do is go one step to far and then China or Russia or even Saudi Arabia would step in.

The Arabs probably don't sound too dangerous on first glance but what could happen would be they'd take all their money out of the USA. Hmmmmmm Trillions of dollars gone out of old Uncle Sam's coffers. The Yanks would be pretty peeved off right?

There'd be a civil war in America because there's no way people in this day and age would tolerate another depression. Could well end with your upstanding president sending a few nukes over to teach the Arabs a lesson. Personally I'd rather see the monkey lynched but there ya go.

Thats just one though, pretty outlandish I'll grant that. But everybody talks about China and Korea etc. Personally I'm not racist but I'll admit prejudice and most intelligent people will tell you thats not necessarily a bad thing. I don't trust China and Korea as far as I could throw em but I don't hate em either. They're different but smart.

On the other hand in the middle east there's a naughty little kid that unfortunately never got spanked when it was growing up. Israeli's are proven warmongers and just because we put up with the crap cos we don't wanna be branded Nazi's doesn't mean Russia and other places will. I'd put money on the fact that they'll be the ones to go too far.

Sorry if I offended anybody. I'm not a Nazi or even anti-jewish just anti-israeli as they are now.

Re: World War 3?

Well lets look at it this way. Amercia spends the most money on its military. Russia is a mass producer of resources and weaponry. China has a massive amount of labor and military personel.

America's Army: 1 million active. 60 million available.
Russia's army: 1 million active. 60 million available.
China's Army: 1 million active. 345 million available.

China has more soldiers than the population of America. Of course they don't have the money or weapons to pull a full assault on America. Russia has the weapons to decimate the american force but Russia doesnt have the support to, or manpower to use these weapons...China does...

World War III was avoided by the crumbling of the Communist Soviet Union. If Russia and China were still on friendly terms America would be no more. Thank your cold war spys and CIA for letting this Glorious nation last a lil longer.
