What's the ordeal?

I do what I can, read, post, (and recently MOD, not too stressful), when I'm at work, during slack times. Sure, sometimes I can't get on during day time for days its seems.

But here's what I'm seeing.

Ya got these Highpaid, high flutten, high technological genius's, and seems all we do is hang round da forum. Its got me cracking up sorta.

- Get a call, or request, or a task. Takes us about 20 mintues to complete.
- Log back on UOForums. Laugh, joke, poke fun of.
- Get another call. Fix.
- Rinse and repeat.
- Occassionally get more coffee/tea, soda/pop, water, snacks, with odd trip top the loo/facilities/restroom, whatever.

HOW much better can it get?

Oh, I know, let me load UO on my corporation PC!

*Dashes off to talk to Security and Corporate Asset guys*

I like my work too, They allow me to bring my laptop and connect to the airport wifi. Of course finding the time to play it is the hard bit.

I havent been able to test it yet, but there should be a wifi network here in the hospital now too....

They just brought in a new web basewd hospital info system and there are alot of rolling computers that I never see plugged into a network slot.

THAT and our IS dept is a bunch of lackeys...

F'Nor, I kinda doubt the Corporate guys will want you to play UO on the job.. Unless they are invited to the party as well

I can see it now.. a band of Corporate Yuppies invading the dark recesses of Doom and the Minotaur's Palace!

My guess is that most IT guys are more consumed about performance and as such than they are about actual gameplay....though I could be wrong, theyll vote for something more ("hardware-based gameplay") like DOOM 3 or Battlefield 2.
