Wasnt hoping for a win either way, just a good game.

The Seahawks had some crappy calls though

No kidding about some unfair calls!!!

The AFC had stronger teams throughout the year so I wasn't to shocked at the Pittsburgh win. But I can't stand when referees can change the momentum of the game with bad calls.

yah! im really suprirsed they didnt challenge the one pittsburg td. it was CLEARLY at least a foot away from the plane of the endzone!

and the one interference call was a bit iffy. not sure about that one yet...

AFC? Americian Funnel Club? Flannel?
Pittsburg won? Won what? Isn't that a city?
Referees? Was there a fight or something?

even that pittsburgh touchdown call was touchy...
still think refs have a hard job...i wouldn't want theirs!
also, i don't like to think of how i'd get to my car after the game if i was!

I think they did what they had to do..despite some hard hard calls they stood by their decisions. they 'were' harder this time than they've been during regular season, but that's as it should be i think

but for the most part i still think it was a good game.

it could have been a better game if seattle didnt get shot in the foot from the begining.

Wow, did you even watch the game?!? Yes Seattle outplayed Pittsburgh, but didn't keep to the fundamentals, discipline. Seattle could have easily won the game had they not made those penalties, if the receivers made an effort to stay inbound on receptions, they simply didn't stick to the fundamentals when it counted, and there were no bad calls, all calls were textbook calls, if you check the rule books you'd see why the calls were made. Someone said they should have challenged the Pitt TD... it WAS REVIEWED, did you go to the bathroom thinking it was half-time already?? If you know the rules when a call is reviewed there has to be clear footage as to whether or not the play should go this way or that and the ref decided there wasn't enough proof so the original call stands. Do I think he made it, no, but you can't tell from any camera angle they showed.

they may have got screwed on the one play but if pittsburgh didn't make the 7 points they would have still won.

the one camera angle they showed of the pitt TD in question showed it CLEAR AS DAY. the ball never crossed the plane. it was about a foot off.

for those that didnt watch the game, the guy who had the ball dove into the endzone. when he landed his head was barely across the endzone line. the ball was CLUTCHED TO HIS CHEST the whole time. it wasnt until after he landed and was officially down that he moved the football across the line. theres no way the ball could have crossed the plane with the ball at his chest if he wasnt even halfway in the endzone.

the TD was NOT reviewed. during the extra point kick, madden was saying how surprised he was that they didnt challenge that TD.

they got screwed during that play.

the one interference call i cant dispute because even though he was only making space (which IS allowed), he LOOKED LIKE he was was doing so by pushing off of the defender (which is NOT allowed). that call i can agree with.

Even Michael Irvin (king of the offensive push-off) said the interference call should have been a 'no call' and Seattle would have been +6. Granted, Seattle and their time-management issues at the end was a complete disaster. Oh, and what about the personal foul on Hasselbeck. That was such a garbage call ~ he blocked the blocker (not the ball carrier) which is legal to do below the waist. *sighs*
