Jarlaxle was my favorite character out of all the books...maybe Morik as a runner up.

Wulfgar was a decent character before the went to Errtu. After that he became a bit too "Poor me." for a while.

They are characters based in the lands of the Forgotten Realms which was formerly owned by TSR, now owned by WotC. The author of the books we are talking about is R.A. Salvatore.

Youve probably heard of Drizz't Do'Urden? Hes as mainstream as a Dungeons and Dragons character can get. I see alot of Artemis Entreri usernames and char names too, hes another of his characters...

Some of the trillogies by "Wizards of the Coasts" are written by different authors, so to me the characters change a bit with each author. I enjoy those trillogies written by the same author R.A Savaltore..
