Limited activty until Mid October

For those that may have noticed, I have been absent a bit from the board. This will continue for the foreseeable future until Mid October, or until I land a new job.

I will check what I can, when I can, but activity will be limited. Gonna miss the great questions and conversations.

I am retiring form the military, and preparing my transition to the workforce. (if anyone feels like helping me with my resume, or reviewing it, please PM me).

Just a couple suggestions on that resume Paul:

1) (the obvious one) Do not attempt to make 1 resume.

1a) (more obvious) Make a resume fit the job you are applying for (meaning look for a job, make a resume that only includes experience/education directly associated with the job you found).

2) (not so obvious, tread lightly) Do not "overqualify" yourself with your resume. (This is something a lot of people are left scratching their heads over after they have applied for a job in which they believe they should have without a hitch. Unfortunately there are some bosses that will see 2 things wrong with an overqualified person, 1. They'd have to pay top tier money and 2. They may fear competition for their own job in the future.)

I bring these up because when I got out of the Army I made all 3 mistakes. Mostly 'cause I'd never made a resume before or knew anything outside of the Army
