Fire Fox Plugins

I love Firefox and I never want to go back to IE but I have been having troubles lately watching videos in it. Like this one http://plicks.com/view/videos/Car/134/1
It says I'm missing the plugin, but it can never find the right plugin. I am running version 2.0.0.3
Can any one direct me on which plug in I need?

It's the windows media plugin, I've had that problem ever since installing Vista

I'll see if I can find the right plugin.

Are you using the NoScript add-on to Firefox? If so, you have to give permission for each website to run scripts, including video. I have NoScript installed on my Firefox and have to give permissions anytime I visit a new website.

You would have had to purposely download the NoScript add-on. Since you don't recall doing so, it's obvious that it isn't the problem in this case.

Nah for some reason, firefox doesn't come installed, or comes installed with broken media player dll/plugin files
I helped her get it working though

Stick with Firefox!!!

I don't use it, probably should.

Read somewhere there is a hole in security (mainly for Vista Users, haha, irony, and I.E. 6.0,7.0 users, Netscape 2.0, 3.0 (could be different versions)users ) where the .ani file that changes the curser to the hourglass (or whatever a site uses) opens a hole in security that hackers can abuse and get control of computers with. Firefox has not been compromised.

Once you use firefox you wont go back - although the new IE is very similar now.
