Re: Broker representation,

I am in agreement with you Adam. I forgot what their point was after the first few paragraphs. It seemed to really have no overall point. What I could gather was, they wanted the Devs to maybe flag duped items, or tell everyone what it is exactly they are pointing out when banning people???maybe????

I never am one to be the grammar police, as I know not everyone in the world speaks our language as their primary language, but ouch.

Re: Broker representation,

It is stated in the contract in UO that you have no rights in the game. Think of UO as private property and you can get kicked out at any time. They do not have to prove anything since it is there property. It stinks but that is the way all online games are worded in their set of rules.

As for giving a warning w/ that doing is wrong? HELLOOOOOOOOO.......... You have a dupe that you bought and you did not know ok or you traded it .... fine I can let the first one go, but to do it continually and not "know" it is wrong. You get what you deserved. You are not innocent. You are actually perpetuating everything in your "ignorance." The "hey I like to trade what's the big deal" is not an excuse.

AS to why some people get banned and some people don't. Some people got caught and some people didn't get caught yet. Too bad. But those who did not get caught are a little more scared or careful.

As for customer support in UO/EA. NEVER had a problem since I do not cheat. So BOO HOO from me that you can't get your account back. If it take sa while BOO HOO. Do what the other dupers did and get another account.

If you don't like how you were treated do one of two things. Quit UO or don't cheat. There yah go.

I hope that it's not his native language because the kids in my special ed class don't make that many errors.

Re: Broker representation,

I used to teach and I had kids who were worse than him. Once I was going over homework and my friend saw it and said "wow you teach kindergarden? That's great!" She said he needed a workbook to help w/ his printing to make straighter lines. I told her that I taught high scholl and this kid was a sophmore.......

Re: Broker representation,

I read the first paragraph and came to this simple conclusion. Anyone who can't type out what they're thinking, or rather, chooses not to use proper grammar, isn't an opinion I care to read about. If you can't form coherent sentences and atleast attempt to make it readable, then don't expect anything you say to be taken seriously.

Anyway, I'll assume whatever he's complaining about is dumb, due to the fact that the person behind the computer seems to be just that... dumb. In any case, if anyone cares to give a summary of what he's saying that'd be great, cause I sure as hell couldn't read that jargon.

Re: Broker representation,

Translation (approximately):

"EA needs more well defined rules, for I am too oblivious to understand that exploitation of in-game mechanics is against the rules."

At least, that's what I was able to make of some of it.

Re: Broker representation,

I honestly think forums teach people more bad grammar habits, than cell phones do. Do you get term papers turned in with U and R, or my favorate, your instead of you're, or there instead of their. Oh, also no capitals either?
