I use a blog on a local webserver, but not for blogging. I put text readme and documentation files into it. The search is great, and I always copy everyones complete readme and docs into it, so the resource is quite expansive.

I don't see the point, for me that is... mine would be so boring no one would bother anyway

Mine is too. I have a total of like 244 hits in 2 years and I think they're all from me

I'd kind of enjoyed bloging but then again I was never good with HTML oh man the sad days when I was at this other forum and they had me as a moderator >_< *sigh* tell you never a good idea. I told them I wouldn't be a good one but no no no! they didn't want to listen to me they said, "Oh you be a good one sense your nice!" And then here I go and the head leader of the site says, "Oh hey go remove "so and so's" post for me we need to clean the mess they made... So what do I go and Do!? I remove and entire thread on accident because I remove the FIRST post not knowing it was going to do that! PAGES GONE! It was horrible and not to mension when the forum turned all tye dye like the hippie 60's for doing something wrong in the moderator spot... shoo

After that I decided to NEVER do anymore HTML work and.. never decided to go into that moderator area either... to dangerous. But man did I give everyone a good laugh >_< Go me! I am so pro at this computer stuff! And from the paranoia on my end thank goodness they made me a member again.. YAY! Not that I go there no more... Oh so much hate and Loatheing do I have for them now >_< But anyway ^_^

*sigh* I envy ALL who knows this type of stuff! And bloging requires knowledge of this sort of thing!

How does it work?!
How do you get diffrent looking bars and textures?!
How do you get the fonts to look the way they do...

Stuff like that... Yeah I leave it to the Net Pros the ones that know what they are doing. Like Adam! You do not know how many times he post "okay I changed "this" and then I look at the forum... the change is indeed done but nothing went funky! Makes me go Ooo and Awe in amazement! And how he knows what "will" work and what will "not work... how would one know? I always had found out the HARD way and never figure out what I did in the first place!

But other than that... bloging might be kind of fun, atleast to rant and stuff...

Blogging sounds like it could be fun, however, I think my life is pretty boring since my days usually follow the same pattern. Occasionally something out of the ordinary will happen, but not on a regular basis *or so I think*....

My blog would be something like this: Went to work today, same hum drum stuff, people calling out sick, angry customers, staff disagreements etc etc. Woot! Now I'm home and can read forums *uninterrupted* and, yes, lets log into UO and see what I can do to decorate my houses a little bit more.

That's it... there might be some bill paying, or cooking *trying new recipies* or moving things around in my real house. *picking up socks*

Who knows, I may try it and see how many hits my blog gets for the heck of it....as Carpathia said, it does sound like fun.
