No but seriously I didn't know people really ate them. My Grandma lived during the great depression and she use to tell us that this was one of her favorite foods back then. We didn't believe her we thought she was trying to gross us out.

the older people in my family, aunts uncles etc, will eat pretty much anything that can be caught, shot, or trapped... softshell turtle, rabbit, squirrel, deer, gator, the list goes on... While I'm ok with venison every now and then, the other 'exotic' game I just never picked up the habit for...

Well, last time I've checked, there hasn't been a dreadful recession or a war-induced famine in the US. So why not give that all-american "I shoot everything that moves" attitude a break?! *shakes head*

I have eaten a lot of stuff, but not that... I could probably add to the list of weird stuff I've eaten, you can never really tell what's in the food people serve.
