*looks at Deimos's desktop*

I am so glad I cleaned mine off before I took my screenshot LOL I didn't have as many as you, but I had about 5 rows. I'm the same way...I keep files on my desktop. Folders full of projects I'm working on and what not.

And I use 1280x1024 too..I can't handle my monitor any other way! It's ok D...you are not alone lol

I really don't use shortcuts. All of everything I need I know how to get to so I don't even display the icons, and when I do none of that stuff (like "my computer") is on there anyways. Everything I know I am going to "use daily" is pinned to my start menu... or oh I am bad about having stuff on my tool bar...

I would love to use 1280x1024 but I just can't play UO with such a small play screen.

I just switch in and out between resolutions.

I find, er rather, found the high resolution beneficial, because that meant I could stash spell icons, paperdoll and containers etc on the black part of the screeen and it wouldn't be all over the play area.

hehe well we all can see how you depend on your icons there De...

*giggles* Really I don't use many icons so what I do use I've already made fit outside my game play box.

Now I would use my full screen mode if only my UOA bar would show...

I prefer the highest possible resolution. My laptop here is 1440x990. When I play UO I also use the highest playscreen and resolution I can, I am able to drag out all magery, necro, spwv, chiv types without encroaching on my playscreen.

I was running a step over 1024x768 on a 17" monitor and I realy liked how I could fit my Auto-map and anything else I wanted on the screen without having to mess with the game screen...I got used to the smallness of it.

That's what I like the most..having Automap up inside the window without it blocking anything!
