*blinks*
Yeah, I'll definately keep my eye out at garage sales now. A few years ago someone was selling their Atari and about 10 games for $5, a couple good shopping days and we could make an e-bay killing!

Re: 30 years of Vintage Gaming Up For Sale
I would NEVER sell any of my mechanical critters like that but who ever did sell them I am glad they sold and have a good home now! ^_^ Or least I hope so... hope it is not going home to a younger kid who doesn't know who doesn't understand to be gental with the systems
What makes me wonder is... I do not know ANYONE who was born a gamer and suddenly stop being a gamer you know? This person whoever sold it I feel is going to re-gret it for selling 30 "YEARS" worth of stuff... if you been a gamer that long you figure you never stop being a gamer... I don't know just really weird... Unless it is someone who passed away and it was handed down to whom ever it was mentioned in thier will? I don't know lol and I am also over thinking this WAYYYYYY to much but that is very Carpathia like of me =P Pile and I are "trying" to get an Xbox 360 this Christmas assuming we do not get hit with fuel oil again... though this time we are prepaired =P If can not obtain Xbox 360 I will just contuine whimpering everytime I see Sonic the Next Generation =P -RMS Carpathia-

Re: 30 years of Vintage Gaming Up For Sale
I love new consoles dont get me wrong, But I love the Roots to say. I remember opening up my First NES when it came with Mario Bro. and Duck hunt, I remember getting My First Genesis System and I remember when My parents told me to sit in the car, and They Came out of Wal-mart with a SNES... Cartridge consoles... I even Remember Getting on our Old Atari 2600 I believe it was, and Playing those games... I Think this day and Age Consoles are so much diffrent... I mean "Kids" now in days I dont think respect the feeling of getting a system, since the system doesn't stick around that long, I mean It feels like the Gap Between next Gen systems arn't hardly anything... I remember The First fight I ever got into was when i was the Nintendo Kid and this other kid Was Some Sega Geek... And we got into a fist fight over who would win... Mario or Sonic :p...

Re: 30 years of Vintage Gaming Up For Sale
HAHA yeah that happened ALOT Mario or Sonic... I liked both but I love animals alot so... haha Sonic was my thing =P
Kids at school at the time Super Nintedo and the Sega Genesis pratcally came out at the same time... so they were bashing Sonic or bashing Mario... most were Mario because one kid got his Super Nintendo and of course got Mario a HUGE hype sweep and they followed thier friends so me and this other kid were one of the few (in the school) to have the Sega Genesis haha! We got ragged on ALOT! "We better than you! We got Super Nintendo and got Mario! Your lame for having Sonic." General type of thing =P I don't care I got my Mario games for Nintendo Entertaiment System got like up two three I think the one with Duck Hunt, Super Mario 2, and 3 which were all kick arse to play and I got my Sonics on Genesis... Then of course as times moved forward new systems came out but we didn't really have the money to get it and was getting harder to get stuff for the original Nintendo (which is the only Nintedo one we had at the time) and then the Sega Genesis which was still releasing stuff... people get all these new systems and newer and better graphic games and rag on me for not "being with the times." glad they had money =P We had money for a cartiage here and there... that is why I am probably so into Sonic HAHAHA! When my dad first brung home the Genesis he so happen to have Sonic the hedgehog being the first game to try out the new system and only that one cartirage for MONTHS for we needed money for other things so hahaha we played that game ALOT!! My sister liked Sonic but she didn't like how fast he was moving and had a hard time trying to controll him myself never had any problems That and my durn sister yoinked the Nintendo to play the Zeldas that came out for that system and she was really having fun so I left her alone... Just as well little blue hedgehog was very distracting =P It is funny in this house hold: Got me of course who loves Sonic Voradan loves Mario My sister loves Zelda (Link) Though Mario and Zelda both gots ALOT of unique items that Sonic doesn't have at all... like tin lunch boxes and custom stylest for the Nintendo DS with the characters on them... I was lucky to get my Shadow the Hedgehog controller built for the Play Station 2! It kind of sucks not having nearly as much collectible stuff as they do =/ but ah well I will take what I can get ^_^ As for what you said Zelzar, I know what you mean =( I do not think kids really enjoy it as much as we loved our consoles when we received them =/ I was very greatful for getting what little we got! Alot of fun... alot of good times... fond memories I do want newer systems though alot of neat things and games coming out for them... contuinuation of the story lines from past games I played and still do play to this day... actually ALOT of games I want on the newer systems that and you can download original games from older systems to play for the Wii and I'd imagen for the Xbox 360 -RMS Carpathia-
