Why wouldn't this work?
I had an idea for a PvP template that on paper and even in mechanics seems to be sound, but there's on incy problem, I thought of it. So this is going to be dodgy but I don't know why.
120 Archery 120 Eval Int 100 Anatomy 100 Tactics 100 Mage 100 Resist And the rest either extra on tactics + anatomy or med or parry. The gear would be a spell channeling, hit (x) spell, damage increase (if u can get all 3 on a wep) Repeating X Bow and high elemental resist armour. Stats I'm stumped on tbh. I thought this one out and its biggest weakness by far is another Archer thats got higher tactics/anatomy/parry. But against a warrior it could be beautiful. The High eval int would allow the casting of Paralyze, the repeating spellfiring crossbow would allow constant paralyzing/shooting. Mages could be a problem as they'd probably outcast me but I'm pretty sure paralyzing fizzles spells.Potions would be handy as well, paralyzed people cant move from explosions and it would be another way to heal. The 75- dropped mage (cos of xbow) would also give enough for dispel field which gets rid of nasty vortexes etc (I think)? Then theres the double shot special attack and a spell channeling composite wouldn't got amiss either methinks for Armour Ignore. I know that they're going to be hitting back but this build is designed to attempt to render somebody quite useless while I have my wicked way with them. Anyway like I said I thought of it so theres something wrong there. If you answer with the solution can you tell my why its wrong? Not just another template because thats like giving me a fish instead of a rod. Thanks in advance to anyone that answers ![]() ![]() Memento Mori

Biggest problem I see with it is stats. To be an effective archer you need all the dex you can get (125 or higher would be nice). To rely on magery you need all the intel you can get (125 or higher would be nice). To live you have to have strength (at least 100)

I could get an extra few points out of potions I guess. I think greaters give 20 points so I could use them, then I'm 65 points out if you can boost int with a pot. Bless would probably help out a little as well. Probably an extra 20 points there. 45 out. (counting up the time to buff up here and its not looking good). I know you can get jewelery with +5 on a stat. So 35 out. My T hunter has 80 med 79 int and can use paralyze constantly so I'd need 60 med and 100 int? 125 dex base is gonna be needed, 80 str as well for heavy xbow and that gives me so that gives me 20 int.... LOL, definitely wont work.
I also did my own field research and found that paralyze is totally resistible sometimes even by ogres (my eval ints pretty low though) then I'd be rushed and probably couldn't get another spell off. So at least I'm learning a little more about mechanics now, always good ![]() ![]() Memento Mori

just be an archer for real and no fagget mage (i dislike mage PK but admire the PK's themself) and be an archer, use a fast composite bow and many HCI DI. be maunted and have fast connection, than just armor ignore first strike and than contineu tracking and moveshotting till target death
